How about a section for listing products for persons with disabilities and seniors. For instance, for those who are blind and visually impaired The National federation of the blind has a free white cane program. send them proof of disability verification. From your eye doctor. school for the blind or vocational rehabilitation counselor. Another is the Library of congress Talking Book program for the blind and physically handicapped. This includes free matter for the blind in shipping. The machine given is a machine that has a cartridge you plug in similar to a thumb drive but is easier for coordination-challenged folks. you can also download a book through the BARD system. But also you have to prove your disability and send it into your local state library. For instance, there is one in Pheonix. Arizona. There is an app on both app stores. There is also Learning Ally for print-challenged folks, textbooks, and other books for persons with disabilities. Book share also has the same as well you have to be a student with a print challenge as well. Scholarships are available to students with disabilities. A few perks for those of us with disabilities. Also placards for vehicles for parking spaces and so they can use without getting a ticket. Greyhound also used to give a ride to companions of blind travelers. Hey ride at a discount. Long gone are days for when Theaters would give us discounts. There is also descriptive video services you find them in your settings where you go to get closed captioning for deaf. Service dogs and guide dogs are allowed in public places. It is the law. Do not pet them while they are working. Even asking the dogs owner is offensive. it is distracting to them. Ask a person with a disability if can I help you? Don’t grab a person by the neck or grab their cane. It is rude. I have always felt there should be discounts for us after all seniors and Military get them. Especially a free second
education. Free College for Blind#

Great idea, Teresa! I will work on creating a separate post or adding it here, where we can list discounts for persons with disabilities. It’s important to note that many of these discounts and freebies are applicable to persons with disabilities as well. Thank you for suggesting this valuable addition!
Also, check out our big list of senior discounts.
