I love coffee!
My day doesn’t officially get started until I had my morning cup of joe.
And I’m not alone. Sixty-four percent of Americans over the age of 18 reported that they drink coffee daily. In fact, according to Reuters, the number of Americans drinking a daily cup of java is at the highest level since 2012.
That explains the explosions of coffee shop chains like Starbucks and Dunkin’, and small mom and op coffee houses. It’s like everyday somebody decides to open a coffee shop!
Keeping in that mind, it’s not hard to see that this coffee habit can become extremely expensive.
With the popularity of coffee shops like Starbucks and the cost of fancy caffeinated drinks rising, it’s a good idea to find ways to lower the cost of your coffee drinking habits and save money at Starbucks or any other coffeehouse.

Obviously, the best way to save money on coffee would be to brew your own at home. But I understand that some people, for one reason or another, may prefer coffee not made in their kitchen.
Thankfully, there are ways and places where you can get free coffee near you, today or any other day.

Abby
What an awesome list. I always take advantage of my free coffee when I go to Ikea. Their coffee isn’t half bad and you can become an ikea Family Member for free so there’s no reason not to join if you live near one. Starbucks is another place I visit on occasion. I’ve learned just to buy a few shots of espresso then add my own milk after. That can save you a dollar or two right there. Thanks for the other suggestions!

Thanks for the feedback Abby!
