If you have a flair for words, don’t put your talent to waste.
You could turn it into an opportunity to earn an income.
And one way to do it would be by writing reviews for various products and getting paid for it.
The sites we’re about to introduce though, they actually pay you instead of just giving your free stuff (although some do give out freebies in exchange for reviews.)
Join InboxDollars for free. InboxDollars pays you to watch videos, search, shop, take surveys, and more. They have paid out $57 Million so far!
Here are some of the best websites where you can make money writing reviews on all kinds of products, from books, movies, and music to clothes, electronics, food, software, and everything in between.
1. Vindale Research
- Official site: https://www.vindale.com/
This site, although branding itself as a “Get Paid to Review” site, is different from others listed here, in that it is more of a cashback site than a straight paid review site.
You are rewarded with cash for shopping online through their site, then coming back and answering a quick survey about the product you bought.
You can expect up to $75 for reviews you give.
They also have paid surveys you can take.
But I use this site mostly for shopping. It’s great to use for those times when you’re going to buy something anyway. Instead of just going to the merchant’s website directly, go through Vindale’s shopping portal so you can get paid for basically buying and reviewing it.
For example, they pay you $30 for getting the Discover Card through them.
So if you’re planning to apply for a Discover card, instead of going to Discover’s website go through Vindale, get the card, answer a few short questions and get paid $30.
It’s basically like getting free money for something you were going to do.
Now, I want to make one thing clear…
Don’t just buy something because you want the cashback!
It just defeats the purpose.
The whole point of using sites like this is to get something back for buying a product/service that you were going to buy regardless of the cashback offered.
You can also get paid for watching videos, referring friends and even taking a picture of the payment you received from Vindale!
2. Software Judge
- Official site: http://softwarejudge.com/
As the name suggests, Software Judge is a site where you are paid to review apps and software.
This site offers the biggest payment for paid reviews if you can manage to write truly good, detailed reviews.
Join Smart Panel and share your experince on how you use the internet. They pay you $5 for installing their free app & $5 a month just for keeping it, plus loyalty bonus every three months! .
For good software reviews, you can earn up to $50 per review.
For all other reviews, you earn $1 per.
How do you know what software to review next?
Easy, they have a section on the site where they list the names of software they need reviews for.
Now, at potentially $50 per review, this could be a profitable side hustle to have.
But, there are two issues:
That $50 is not guaranteed.
Remember, it says “up to” $50, and your review has to be amazingly good and through.
The next problem is that you are limited to only 3 reviews per day. This keeps people from submitting junk reviews left and right.
That said, it is still one of the easiest ways to earn some extra cash in your spare time.
Now when it comes to actually getting your money, you have two options depending on how much you have in your account.
- Western Union ($200): You can request a payment when you have $200 in your account. The money will be sent via the Western Union. The reason for this is because the company accepts members from many different countries and with WU money can be sent anywhere in the world 15 minutes.
- Free Software ($20): If you can’t wait until you reach $200 in your account, you can request any software, game or an e-book to be purchased for you. For this, you have to have at least $20 in your account.

As a reviewer/tester, you’ll have to visit the website, spend some time looking around, performing searches, navigating through the site, etc.
You get $10 for every website you review.
Now, you have to use their online screen recorder to capture your entire visit to the site.
They also recommend you talk throughout the video, commenting on your experience. So, you will have to invest in a mic if you don’t already have one.
For more details, including tips on how to make more money, read our comprehensive UserTesting review.
Update 2/12/18 This site is no longer in service.
- Official site: http://www.ciao.co.uk/faq/earning-money,12
Ciao is sort of like a price comparison/review site.
You get paid “a small cash payment” every time you rate and review a product.
Your earnings are based on ratings given by the other members on your reviews.
They suggest writing detailed reviews if you want to succeed. Avoid “quick reviews” as they will not be awarded cash payments.
As a reviewer, you can leave feedback on hundreds of products from a wide number of categories such as beauty, books, electronics, entertainment, food, household products, travel destinations, recipes and more.
You can request to be paid when you have earned £5 in your account. They pay with direct deposit to your bank account.
17. Review Stream
- Official site: https://www.reviewstream.com/writereview.php
ReviewStream is a huge paid to review site that has been around for quite some time.
You can write reviews on almost any product and service imaginable – baby products, car rentals, airlines, furniture, healthcare… the list goes on and on.
The exact amount you get paid differs based on the content. Not only they pay for individual reviews, they also accept bulk submissions.
You get paid upon submission and approval of your piece. And on top of that payment, you can also earn an extra $0.10 whenever another member casts a vote for your review.
The minimum requirement for cashing out differs from member to member since it’s based on individual reviewer’s rates.
You are paid via PayPal.
- Official site: https://payperpost.com/
PayPerPost is really easy to use as long as you have a blog.
It’s basically a platform where brands are connected with content creators/bloggers.
As a blogger, you will be writing sponsored posts (which is basically another form of review.)
To get started, create an account and submit your blog.
Once your blog is approved, you can receive offers from brands and advertisers.
Once you publish the sponsored post, the advertiser will review it and if they like it, it gets approved.
Once approved, you get paid via PayPal.
19. Sponsored Reviews
- Official site: http://www.sponsoredreviews.com/
This is extremely similar to PayPerPost.
The concept is basically the same – get paid to write sponsored posts.
You can set your own prices.
The bigger your site is and the more audience it has, the more money you can charge.
According to the company, you can earn anywhere from $5 to $1000 per post.
If you have an extremely big and popular site, you may be able to get even more than that.
- Official site: http://linkfromblog.com/
This site connects bloggers with advertisers.
Here’s how it works:
- Advertisers who are looking to get the word out about their product or service, join the site and pay to have their product/service promoted (usually in the form of reviews) on available blogs.
- Bloggers who are looking to monetize their blog apply to run one of those promotions on their blog and are paid for doing so.
As a blogger, you can choose which products/service you want to review.
Now, as far as how much you can earn, it depends on the advertiser. You can earn anywhere from $5 to $200 (although that’s very rare) or more per review.
What makes this especially attractive is that you can even use one of those free blog sites like Blogger or WordPress.com.
Most paid to review sites don’t accept blogs built on free blogging sites, but this one does, so you should take advantage of it.
- Official site: http://www.blogsvertise.com/
Blogsvertise started back in 2009 as a platform for advertisers and bloggers to connect, much like PayPerPost.
However, it seems like they have moved away from sponsored posts and are now entirely focused on sponsored ads.
If you are interested, join and submit your blog. Once it’s approved, it gets added to the assignment queue.
When there are available ads, they will be displayed on your site.
You don’t have to actually endorse any of the products that the ads promote.
The amount of money you earn per ad depends on the size and popularity of your site.

After you’ve sampled the product, you need to write a review on it, which will be posted on the site’s review page.

The website doesn’t state whether it actually pays cash, or whether it just compensates you with free stuff.
- Official site: https://www.pinchme.com/
Another website to check out for review opportunities is PINCHme.
We actually have a very detailed review of PINCHme that includes the kind of stuff we have received so far.
Here’s how it works:
- Complete a shopper survey. All you need to do is tell the website a little about yourself. Taking this survey allows PINCHme to find samples that suit you.
- On Sample Day, you get to choose the samples that you want to add to your PINCHme box.
- Provide feedback. Once you’ve got your free sample, you need to give your opinion about it.

Unfortunately, many of the sites mentioned in our original post no longer offer paid review opportunities.
The following are among those sites.
We’re keeping them here for archival purposes.
They no longer pay for reviews. They recommend you use their other site Ciao.
On dooyoo.co.uk, you get paid when you review products and services after using them.
Based on your first-hand experience, your reviews will help others decide before purchasing a particular product.
How it works is that you earn dooyooMiles when you write the reviews. DooyooMiles can be turned into cash, vouchers, or be donated to a charity of your choice.
You also get extra points when people read your reviews.
The best product reviews of the month will be awarded as well.
Shvoong is the place to find summaries and reviews about almost everything.
It is a great review website for those who love reading because you get paid to write summaries and reviews of books, articles, newspapers, academic papers, and websites.
They like shorter articles (under 1000 words), so the readers quickly get the gist of the reviewed item.
Shvoong gets its revenue from ads on the website, and reviewers get 10% of the revenue. You can collect your payment on the fifth day of the month when it reaches $10 in your account.

Also, when you cast your vote on a review submitted by other members, you will get a share of their revenue.
It is something different because you are paid when you vote for reviews written by other members.

You also earn money when you read and rate the reviews written by others.
If your review score reaches the point of the quality review threshold, you earn an extra $10 on top of what you have already earned.
Minimum requirements for cashing out is set at only $10.
This website allows you to write only five reviews a month, though, they may occasionally change the rules.

Update & Warning:
Please use Blog Distributor (and any other site for that matter) I or anybody else recommend, at your own risk.
I got an email from Dean Saliba of MakeMoneyLessons.com recently. In it, he pointed out to a few of his posts where he argues that this company refused to pay him for his work until he took the fight to social media and basically tried to put their reputation on the line hoping they would pay him. Hi did finally get paid, but according to Dean, it was only half of what they actually owed him. You can read Dean’s posts here on his site.
I always do my research before linking to any site or service, but as you can see, you can never cover everybody’s experience.
That said, please also keep in mind that people do have different experiences with the same companies, just like out there in the real world, so dealing with online businesses is the same. Which is why it’s good to do your research before joining any site.
Note to Folks from Blog Distributor: In the spirit of fairness, I would be happy to hear and publish your counter response to Dean’s claim as well.
ExpoTv.com is a rather different review site because you film your reviews instead of writing them out.
It is easy as you simply search for products you want to review and then make a video of yourself talking about the product.
Any kind of product can be reviewed but not prescription medicine, firearms, and tobacco-related items.
If you want to earn extra points, you can do so by participating in surveys and inviting your friends to join the website.
Yahoo Voices (formerly Associated Content)
YV, as I mentioned in a recent post about websites that pay you to write, is a site where you can make decent money by writing articles.
But it also allows you to write reviews of various products and make money from it.
You can either opt for upfront payments, or you can get paid per page views (somewhere around $1.50 for 1000 page views).
Those are the websites that you can make use of during your free time if you wish to make some extra money.
It is crucial to be honest in your reviews that you are being paid to write. People will be reading your reviews, which will somehow play a role in their decision making when buying a product or service.
If you can, write your reviews based on your own experiences because that is what the websites and advertisers are looking for.
Otherwise, I don’t think it would be fair to get paid for reviewing something that you didn’t even use.
