- Available for: Android – iOS
With the Walmart app, you get access to the Walmart Savings Catcher tool. You can use Walmart Savings Catcher to get rebates.
You upload a photo of your Walmart receipt, and then Walmart Savings Catcher will check to see if any of the items you bought at Walmart were available at a lower price at a competitor store, like Target or Winn-Dixie, during the same time period.
If the app finds that you could have bought an item at a lower price at another store, then you’ll get a refund for the difference, in the form of store credit.
So, let’s say you bought paper towels at Walmart for $5, but at the same time, you could have gotten those same paper towels at Target for just $3. In this case, you’d get a $2 rebate from the Walmart Savings Catcher tool.
Aside from the Walmart Savings Catcher tool, the Walmart app allows you to view the Weekly Ad and get up-to-the-minute savings and details about special offers and featured products.
