- In-Store Shopper: As an In-Store Shopper, you shop for the customer’s order and then stage it for pick-up.
What’s good about Instacart is that you can use it to make money without a car with the In-Store Shopper role. This job doesn’t require you to have a car because you don’t need to deliver the groceries. Instead, you’re simply shopping for the groceries.

- Helping people move
- Cleaning

So, TaskRabbit does allow you to get paid for shopping for and delivering food and groceries to people, but you can also get paid to do a bunch of other tasks. You can search through all of the jobs available on TaskRabbit and then filter the jobs to find the type of work that you want to do.
TaskRabbit pays you via direct deposit. Payments are typically approved within 24 hours of you finishing a task, but it can take three to five days for the money to appear in your bank account.

A Quick Note About Caviar and Postmates
If you’re looking for companies like DoorDash, you might have heard about Caviar and Postmates. You used to be able to sign up with these companies and get paid to make deliveries. However, this isn’t the case anymore.
Caviar and Postmates have now merged with other companies. That’s why I haven’t included them on the list.
Caviar is now part of DoorDash. So, drivers who worked for Caviar will now be delivering for DoorDash.
Postmates is now part of Uber Eats. So, drivers will need to have an Uber driver account to accept deliveries.
