Under Armour, like most other companies, also has a rigorous testing program known as the Under Armour Field Test, where they use “real athletes” at different levels to check the performance of their products—apparel, footwear, and accessories.
Their Design and Product Teams then use the feedback from these testers to determine if the products are performing as they should, as well as to improve them.
How Does Product Testing for Under Armour Work?
It’s simple, really.
First, you’ll need to sign up for the Under Armour Field Test Program.
Once your application is approved, they will send you a product—be it an Under Armour shoe, hoodie, backpack, t-shirt, or any other product they make.
You then use the product as you would any other and report back on your experience during the usage. At the end of the test, which normally lasts for a few weeks, you have to send the product back, where the company will evaluate it to see how it held up to wear and tear.
