If you’re looking to stay in a hotel, then you should definitely check out the TripAdvisor app.
With this app, you can compare prices from more than 200 hotel booking sites. So, you’ll ensure that you get the best deal on your next hotel stay.
Also, TripAdvisor offers plenty of other great features, such as more than 500 million reviews and opinions form travelers.
7. Trivago
Trivago allows you to compare prices from more than one million hotels across more than 180 booking websites.
You can also do searches based on your maximum price so that you keep your stay within your budget.
Plus, you can also find cheap hotels nearby.
8. SkyScanner
SkyScanner is an excellent app for travel. It allows you to compare the prices of flights, hotels and car rentals.
You can instantly search for, compare and book hotels, flights and car rentals from your phone.
And, what’s great about the app is that it also allows you to set up price alerts. So, when you find a flight you like, tap on the bell icon, and the app will track flights and send you a notification when the price changes.

Compare the cost of flights, hotels and car rentals with KAYAK. Using it, you can view prices from hundreds of travel sites, all in one place.

Books seem to be getting more expensive by the day. And while there are some ways to save money on books, one of the best ways is using an app/site called BookScouter.

BookScouter differs from the others on this list. It’s a great tool if you’re looking to sell old books, and want to ensure that you get the best price for them.
BookScouter allows you to compare the prices of used books and textbooks on more than 30 book buyback websites.

13. GasBuddy – Compare Gas Prices
If you’re looking to always get the best price on gas, then you’ll definitely want to check out GasBuddy.
Using it, you can find gas stations with the lowest-priced fuel in your area.
According to the app, you can save $340 with it.
Plus, you can get price hike alerts so that you can fill up before the price increases.

Grocery price comparison apps
According to a Gallup, Americans spend an average of $151 a week on food and groceries. Thankfully, there are a lot of ways to save money on groceries.

15. Walmart Savings Catcher
The last comparison tool on our list is Walmart Savings Catcher.
It differs from the others on this list, because it’s focused on comparing prices at Walmart against those offered at competitor stores.
And, because rather than comparing the price for stuff that you plan to buy, this tool allows you to check the price of items that you have already bought, and then get a rebate if it turns out that there was a better price available at one of Walmart’s competitor stores at the time.
Essentially, you upload a photo of your Walmart receipt using the app, and then the Walmart Savings Catcher tool checks to see whether you got the best price available at the time for all of the items that you bought.
If it turns out that an item you bought at Walmart was cheaper at another store at the same time, then Walmart will refund you the difference. You get your refund in Rewards Dollars that you can spend at Walmart.
