Today’s post is about a legit work at home opportunity offered by Call Center QA.
It’s with Call Center QA, a mystery shopping company that checks up on the service provided by different call centers.
Call Center QA operates from Boston, and is employed by call centers to provide mystery telephone shoppers who give feedback on the quality of service.
With the amount of traffic at call centers, it’s impossible for the managers to keep track of how well their staff handles each call, so mystery telephone shoppers provide a vital service.
To be considered for a job with Call Center QA, you need the following:
- Valid Email address
- PayPal account
And that’s about it!
If you’re at least 18, in the USA, and can work legally here, you qualify.
What’s more, you don’t need any experience, you don’t have to pay to apply (that’s right, this is a legitimate no fee mystery shopping job,) and no one will even do a background check on you.
As you need to report back on each call, you’ll need basic keyboarding skills.
How much can you make as a phone mystery shopper?
The rewards are straightforward.
You get paid $5 for each call and report that you make.
The calls are expected to last 5+ minutes, so allowing 10 minutes to complete each job means you could get paid $30 an hour.
Of course, some calls may take longer, and you can’t just hang up on them.
Still, it’s a good rate of pay for something that can be quite easy.
Pay is sent out once a week via PayPal, so you’ll never wait more than a week for your money.
You are working as an independent contractor, so Call Center QA doesn’t guarantee how much work you’ll get, but the better you do the more likely they are to use you repeatedly.
There are a couple of other ways to make money with Call Center QA.
There is a monthly cash contest drawing. In the last one there were 3 winners of $125.
There is also referral money you can earn.
When you sign up, you are given a unique referral link, and if someone clicks on your link and signs up too, you get $5 after they start work.
How & where to apply
Call Center QA makes it very easy to apply, too.
- First, visit this page: http://www.callcenterqa.org/employment/
- Scroll down towards the bottom of the page and you’ll see a form that you can fill out.
- You fill out the basic details online, including a brief outline of your interests.
- Then you have to do an unpaid test to see if you can do the work.
The website lists several numbers for your test call, and you choose one according to your interests. For instance, at the moment you can call about life insurance, automobile insurance, or getting an online degree.
These are real call center numbers, and you have to follow the instructions carefully on what you need to do – in particular, you have to act like a normal potential client and never let them know you are a Mystery Shopper.
After that, you complete a test call evaluation form online, and wait to see if your work is acceptable.
