Top Fetch Rewards Hacks
Below, I have some really simple tips and tricks you can use to get the most points out of Fetch Rewards.
1. Submit your receipts from multiple stores (not just the grocery store!)
The great thing about Fetch Rewards is that it allows you to scan receipts not just from grocery stores and supermarkets, but also from plenty of other places.
With Fetch Rewards, you can upload receipts from:
- Grocery stores
- Supermarkets
- Wholesale club stores
- Hardware stores
- Pet stores
- Gas stations
- Convenience stores
- Clothing retailers
- Fast-food restaurants
So, there are so many options here. Make sure that you upload not only your grocery receipts, but receipts from the other stores that you visit. This way, you won’t miss out on the potential to earn from pretty much every shopping trip.
2. Buy items from participating brands
You can earn more points by purchasing participating items at stores.
Fetch Partners with 100s of brands, so you can earn points by purchasing select name brand products.
Eligible receipts that contain at least one participating brand can receive at least 35 points. To find participating items, go to the “Partner Brands” section of the site or look under the Discover Page in the app.
3. Check for receipts from the past 14 days
Did you know that you can upload receipts from the past 14 days?
So, when you first sign up to Fetch Rewards, take your purse or wallet, and look through it for receipts.

I know that when I go shopping, I just drop my receipts in my purse and forget about them. So, pull them out, and upload them!
You could get cash for your receipts from the last two weeks, the moment you sign up. This can get you a good amount of Fetch Rewards points from the outset, boosting the total for your first month on the platform.
4. Submit e-receipts too
Okay, so it’s not just receipts from the grocery store that can earn you money. You can also earn with your online receipts. One of the best Fetch Rewards hacks I can give you is to also upload your eReceipts.
I do most of my shopping online, so I have way more eReceipts, compared with your regular old paper ones.
If I didn’t upload those, I’d be missing out on tons of points from Fetch Rewards. So, I would highly recommend that you submit your eReceipts too.
Now, you can only submit online receipts from supported retailers. Thankfully, there are TONs of them.
Here are some of the stores where you can submit eReceipts from:
- Amazon (Including Amazon, Amazon Prime, Amazon Subscribe & Save, Amazon Smile, and Amazon Fresh orders)

That’s not even all of them! There are others, which you can check out here. Now, eReceipts from your connected email and Amazon account, must be scanned within 30 days from the date the order is shipped. By the way, this is one of the few ways to earn Amazon cashback.
And, eReceipts aside from Amazon must be in your email inbox in order to be picked up property when scanned. If the receipt is moved to a different folder, like “Spam,” then it likely won’t be picked up. So, make sure that your email is set up to send receipts to your regular inbox folder.
5. Skip the Fetch Pay debit card
Fetch Rewards offers a debit card called Fetch Pay. You can use this card at any location to pay for your purchases and you’ll earn points for the money you spend. Sure, it sounds like it could be an easy way to earn more points, but, honestly, it’s not worth it.
You only earn 1 point per $1 spent. So, you would have to spend $3,000 just to earn a $3 reward. Given the points-to-dollars exchange rate on Fetch Rewards, 1 point per $1 only works out to a cashback rate of 0.1%.
This is well below the rate you would earn with other cashback debit and credit cards. I would opt for one from elsewhere because you will get a better cashback rate.
6. Refill your prescriptions with GoodRx
You can also earn points when you refill prescriptions using GoodRx with Fetch Rewards. You can get 10,000 points with your first coupon, and 1,500 points for future coupons or refills.
Learn how to use GoodRx with Fetch Rewards here.
7. Earn more points from your receipts with special offers
With Special Offers, you can earn even more money from your receipts. Special Offers allow you to earn more bonus points for purchasing specific items.
You can find special offers on the “Discover” page or tab within your Fetch Rewards app beneath the section “Special Offers.”
8. Refer Friends
A really easy Fetch Rewards hack I have for you is to refer friends and family members to the platform.
Just like most companies that pay you to refer your friends and family, FR does the same.
You can earn additional points through the Fetch Rewards referral program by sharing your referral code with people who have not yet used the platform. Once the person you refer enters your referral code and snaps their first receipt, both of you with receive the referral points.
For successfully referring a new user, you will earn at least 2,000 points. And, there are times throughout the year when Fetch Rewards will hold special promotions you could earn you even more.
Referral promotions are sent through the email address that’s associated with your Fetch Rewards account, as well as within the Fetch Rewards app. So, make sure you lookout for these referral promotions. This is such an easy way to earn more points, and you’re sharing a useful platform with friends and family.
9. Join clubs to earn more
You can earn even more points when you join clubs. Join Huggies Rewards+ and PepsiCo Tasty Rewards, and you can get access to extra points, exclusive Special Offers and more bonuses from popular brands, right in the app.
Learn more about how to join clubs here.
10. Use multiple receipt-scanning apps
If you use a few apps that pay you to scan your grocery receipts, then you can earn money multiple times for the same receipt.
Here are a few great websites and apps that pay you for scanning your receipts:
