Online survey sites are everywhere. From Swagbucks to Survey Junkie, they all promise the same things, too: it is an easy way to make money. Just answer some questions and get paid!
If you haven’t already guessed by the name, Branded Surveys offers to do just that. In this Branded Surveys review, we’ll see if it’s a worthwhile use of your time.
Much like all other survey sites, Branded Surveys conducts surveys on behalf of companies and pays you (the participant) for your time and feedback.
To put it simply, you are taking part in market research. They want to know how people in your demographic feel about certain products and services. This information helps companies and manufacturers improve their products and even develop new and better ones.
While Branded Surveys won’t ever sell personal data like your name, your email address, or where you live, their clients are still going to want to know non-identifying things like your gender, your age, and how you might feel about certain brands of cereal.

By the way, if you have been a survey taker for a while, you might have already worked with them before they changed their name. You may remember MintVine from a few years ago. Well, in 2017 MintVine rebranded itself as Branded Surveys. So Branded Surveys is essentially the former MintVine survey.
How Branded Surveys Works
Before you start taking surveys, obviously you need to sign up.
You can create an account for free by going to surveys.gobranded.com.
You can either create an account using an email address or you can join with Facebook.
Once you are a member, you can begin taking surveys. Each survey earns you a certain number of points
How much points are worth?
Their point conversion system is actually very simple and easy to understand. Each individual point is worth 1 cent or $0.01. So 100 points = $1 and 1000 points = $10.
Features of the site
The main feature of this site is the survey-taking system. It’s how you earn points, which is how you make money. More on that later!

Branded Surveys also features a Branded Elite program, which is a system that rewards loyalty to the service. Getting to a higher level in the program means you earn more points for finishing surveys.
Currently, there are three levels in Branded Elite:
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
Each level grants a bonus of 50 points when a friend you’ve referred earns a Silver badge for the first time.
Each level grants a better bonus than the last when you’ve completed 12, 20, or 30 bonuses in a week, from a 9% bonus to points earned for 30 surveys at Bronze level to a 19% bonus for the same task at Gold.
There’s also a set of random rewards given out on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to the top survey takers. These rewards range from 50 to 1,000 points.
The site also features Branded Pay, its proprietary payout system. While you can still redeem your earnings for PayPal cash or gift cards from a variety of companies, Branded Pay (available only in the US) offers a direct deposit into your bank account.
How to Make Money with Branded Surveys
As mentioned previously, the way you make money on Branded Surveys is by taking surveys!
And with their Bronze-Silver-Gold tiered reward system, the more you complete within a week the more you earn, and the longer you use the site the more you can get paid for the same amount of effort.
You only get paid for surveys you fit into the demographic for so it’s a good idea to go for brands you’d see yourself actually using.
Branded Surveys Payout
As with any other survey site, you have to redeem your earnings.
Once you reach 1,000 points, you’ll be eligible to cash out through your method of choice. You can get $10 placed in your bank account by PayPal or Branded Pay, or you can get your payout in gift cards from companies like Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot or Chipotle.
Reviews of Branded Surveys
Reviews for Branded Surveys go from high praise to condemnation.
The site has four and a half stars out of five from Trustpilot, a popular user review site, with the vast majority being 5-star ratings.
“I can always count on Branded Surveys for consistency in qualifying Surveys.” one reviewer said, giving the site five stars.
“Wish I would qualify for more surveys,” said this reviewer, who gave Branded Surveys 4 stars.
This Reddit user labeled the service as a “borderline scam,” saying that although they do pay people for using their service, “they still have very questionable practices.”
Heading over to the Better Business Bureau, an organization made to establish standards for trustworthy businesses, you can see that Branded Surveys is accredited with them.
They’ve earned a “B” grade from the organization, meaning they have room to improve when it comes to customer service and transparency.
Most crucially, perhaps, is the customer review section, which only gives Branded Surveys one and a half stars out of five.
Pros and Cons
All this talk can be a lot to take in. To put things more simply, here’s a list of advantages and drawbacks to using Branded Surveys.
Some positive points of Branded Surveys are:
- Short time to payout (about a day) when you use their Branded Pay system.
- You can unlock better rewards by being more active on the site.
- If it turns out you don’t qualify for a survey, you still get a few points as compensation.
Some negative things about the site are:
- If you don’t use their payout system, it can take a few days to get your money.
- Surveys can be time-consuming for the amount they offer.
- Sometimes it can be hard to tell which surveys you’re qualified for before you start.
Is Branded Survey Worth It?
This is a survey taking site I wouldn’t really recommend. The few features it has are lackluster compared to others of its kind, and the rewards you get often aren’t worth the time you put into it. Also, the majority of complaints are that upon completing their survey, users have had their input disqualified, so sometimes that time spent has no reward at all.
Of course, that doesn’t mean that Branded Survey is a scam. It’s a legit paid survey company that does pay. So if you want to give it a try, you will get paid!
You’re better off joining a different site that will pay you more anyway. To find other sites that can pay you to take surveys, click here.
