While there are many sites and stores like Wayfair, when my drawers broke last year, where did I go to buy new ones?
Wayfair!
Where did I shop when I wanted a traditional-style rug for my home a few years back?
Wayfair!
What about when I was looking for a chair for my vanity?
Again, you guessed it, I went to trusty old Wayfair.

Honestly, it’s one of the best and cheapest sites for home décor and furniture.
Wayfair boasts 5,000 brands of furniture, lighting, cookware, and more.
There’s free shipping available on most items on there too. And, many items on there are reasonably priced.
Sure, not everything on Wayfair is cheap. There are some more expensive items and brands featured on there. Still though, it’s a pretty affordable store.
Despite its large collection and affordable pricing, many of us are still looking for sites like Wayfair. After all, it’s good to have options when shopping, right?
The stores on our list are similar to Wayfair in terms of style, affordability, product selection, or quality, or all of the above.

So, if you are wondering what is another place like Wayfair, check out this list of alternative sites to Wayfair.
1. IKEA
Want an affordable desk for your home office?
IKEA has a great selection of them. What about some bunk beds for your kids’ room?
It’s got those too.

In fact, IKEA has pretty much everything you could think of for your home. Its storage solutions are awesome too.
Prices at IKEA are low, so your dollar stretches far here. For modern furniture that’s good quality and affordable, it doesn’t get much better than IKEA!
2. Tuesday Morning
Make your home sing and your wallet happy when you shop at Tuesday Morning. The discount store company has everything you need, home décor and furniture-wise.
There’s an excellent selection of products, all of which are reasonably priced. You can get free shipping on orders of over $149. And, who doesn’t want to save money on shipping, right?
I love the site for its cheap rugs! It’s also good for home décor accents like curtains and pillows. I like that much of the site’s inventory is classic, so it’s going to last you a long time.
3. Amazon
Let’s start with who is Wayfair’s biggest competitor: Amazon!
Amazon sells, well, pretty much everything you could think of. And the site certainly doesn’t disappoint in the home décor department.
Cheap furniture that also looks good? – check!
Excellent product selection to suit all styles, from classic to contemporary? – Check!
Amazon has it all.
I had this awkward little space in my bedroom – think tall but narrow, with not much space in front of it either! – and I wanted to get a little set of drawers to fit in there, and lo and behold, where did I find exactly what I was looking for?
On Amazon of course!
Amazon is cheap, making it a good Wayfair alternative. And, what I like about it is that there are lots of reviews on there. So, you can check those out before you decide to make a purchase.
You should also sign up for Prime if you’re not already. It doesn’t cost too much, and you get free shipping on Prime-eligible orders. There’s no shipping minimum either!
4. World Market
Looking for home décor and furniture from around the globe? Try World Market. Pieces are simple, yet stylish, brightening up any home. It sells imported rugs, which is great.
There’s indoor and outdoor furniture in the site’s selection, and you can find a beautiful range of home décor items.
Everything is affordable on there. Get tables for under $100, rugs for as cheap as $10 to $25, home décor items, like vases, for as cheap as $5, and many more bargain items.
5. Urban Outfitters
Trendy and affordable are the two words that first come to mind about the selection of home items at Urban Outfitters. For those with a modern sense of style, Urban Outfitters is a good Wayfair alternative.
Not everything on there is super cheap – there are you know, like $500 chairs! – but, you can find some great bargains on there.
If you’re on a budget, then I’d recommend filtering the results. You can do this by clicking on the dropdown menu next to “Sort,” and selecting “Price: Low to High.”
You can find home décor pieces on there for as little as 5 bucks.
6. Anthropologie
Anthropologie is great for boho and traditional-style home décor.
Pillows, lamps, wallpaper – you really can find everything you’d need to decorate your home.
The selection at Anthropologie really is beautiful. Products are available in various styles and colors. There are items available in many shades from muted pinks to dark greens and a variety of pieces on there from traditional mirrors to modern rugs.
Sure, it’s not the cheapest place to shop. But, if you’re looking for that same selection of beautiful products that you’d find on Wayfair, then a store like Anthropologie is definitely a site to consider.
7. CB2
CB2 is like Wayfair for modern furniture and contemporary home décor. If you like modern-style home décor, then you should give CB2 a try.
You can shop for everything from sofas to dining tables, to outdoor furniture, to home accessories on there.
There’s a clearance section on the site where you can get up to 60% off. Sofas, dining chairs, dining tables, nightstands, rugs, lighting – CB2 has pretty much everything you need to furnish your home. It has a pretty large selection of furniture and home décor items, just like Wayfair.
When it comes to affordability, I think there are better choices than CB2. I feel that it’s on the more expensive side compared to say, IKEA or Amazon. Still though, if you’re looking for that same wide range of products and quality items that you’d find at Wayfair, then CB2 is worth a try.
8. West Elm
Bookcases, coffee tables, recliners, sofas, chairs, bedding, rugs – West Elm has a varied selection of furniture and home décor items.
Basically, it has everything you need to spruce up your home. The brand is known for its mid-century modern designs.
And if you pay attention to the West Elm sale schedule, you can snag some great deals on all kinds of items!
9. Birch Lane
For farmhouse and traditional-style furniture, Birch Lane should be your go-to.
With furniture, bedding, rugs, and more, Birch Lane has everything you need to beautifully decorate your home.
You can get free shipping on orders over $35. There’s also a sale section on the site where you can get lots of great deals.
10. AllModern
Fans of modern furniture will love shopping at AllModern. There’s lots to choose from on the site from furniture to lighting to wall art to bedding.
Furniture over $35 ships for free. There’s a sale section on the site too where you can find some great deals.
11. Crate & Barrel
Known for its high-end, rustic, yet modern designs, Crate & Barrel has a beautiful selection to furnish your home with.
Sign up for emails to get 10% off full-price items, and to get alerts about new items, sales, and more.
There’s a sale section on the site where you can get discounted items. Some of them are heavily discounted too – you can get like 60% off!
12. H&M
H&M isn’t just a place to shop for trendy clothes. It’s also excellent for home décor pieces, making it a fantastic alternative to Wayfair.
Curtains, rugs, blankets, wall decorations, furniture and more, H&M has everything you need to make your home look great.
Styles at H&M are on the more trendy and modern side, so if that’s your jam, then H&M’s homeware selection will be perfect for you.
There are lots of ways to save money at H&M too. Students, for example, get 10% off. And, there’s a sale section on the site where you can get big discounts, like 60% off or even more than that.
There’s a subsection of the sale section just for home items.
You can also get 15% off your order when you sign up to receive emails and texts.
13. Zara
Like H&M, Zara is mostly known as a clothing retailer, but like the former store it’s also great for items for the home. You’ll find modern designs and clean styles in Zara’s home collection.
There’s a good selection of furniture on the site, like chairs and sofas. And, there are plenty of decorative items to spruce up your home, such as rugs and wall décor.
Prices aren’t super cheap at Zara, so if you’re on a budget, then it’s not the best option. However, it does have a nice selection for your home.
14. Walmart
Whenever I want something cheap, I go to Walmart. And, really, it never fails!
If you are looking for stores like Wayfair but cheaper, Walmart is a pretty safe bet!
For rugs, wall art, and other home décor items, I find it to be an excellent choice.
Prices are so affordable. For example, you can get coffee tables for under $50, picture frames for as cheap as $1 to $5, and vases for less than $5.
I like the storage solutions at Walmart in particular. You can get all of the storage solutions you need at Walmart, like food storage, bathroom storage, shoe storage, and storage furniture. Prices are all super low too as you’d expect from Walmart.
Walmart offers free 90-day returns too.
By the way, if you are wondering, “Is Wayfair owned by Walmart?“, it is NOT! There seems to be a misconception that Walmart owns Wayfair. I think it comes from the fact that a few years ago there were rumors of a partnership or acquisition but it actually never happened.
15. Target
Walmart is my go-to when I’m looking to get low prices on home décor. But, when I want that mix of affordability and quality, I go to Target.
Target has an awesome selection on its website of home décor items and furniture. It really is a good alternative to Wayfair. Prices are great. For example, you can get rugs for as cheap as $30, garden décor for just $10, and accent tables for $70.
There’s a wide range of furniture and home décor items to choose from.
Featured on the site is a clearance section where you can score some great discounts.
You can get free 2-day shipping on orders of $35 or more. There’s also contactless pickup and same-day delivery available.
What I like about Target is all the opportunities it has available for you to save money.
There’s the Weekly Ad and Target Circle.
Target Circle is the store’s loyalty program. Join it, and you can earn 1% in Target Circle earnings rewards every time you make an eligible purchase with a non-RedCard payment. This can be used at Target in-store or online.
With Target Circle, you can also get access to 100s of deals and 5% off a single purchase for your birthday.
