Ever wonder how to become a Reebok product tester?
If you love Reebok sneakers & shoes and want to get some for free, you’re in the right place.
Becoming a Reebok product tester is a legit way to test new shoes and apparel for free.
Like most other sportswear companies (Nike and Under Armour, to name a few), Reebok also has a testing program where they send you shoes to test out for about 3-6 weeks. During this period, they evaluate how the product holds up in real-world conditions and with normal daily wear and tear.
Unlike other product testing programs, such as Under Armour’s Wear Testing Program, which doesn’t compensate testers, Reebok is known to send panelists free products (more on that below).

Before a new shoe or piece of gear hits the shelves, Reebok needs to know how it actually performs.
Does it hold up?
Is it comfortable?
Durable?
That’s where testers come in. Real athletes and everyday active people (like you and me) try out the products and give honest feedback.
Basically, you become their eyes and ears, helping Reebok make better gear for everyone.
How Reebok Product Testing Works: A Step-by-Step Guide
The process is pretty simple.
Here’s how it works:
A Quick Heads-Up About the Application Link
As of September 2025, the official link to the Reebok testing program has been a bit temperamental; sometimes it works, and other times it shows an error. This usually happens when they are updating their system or have temporarily paused new applications. I’m keeping the official link for you below, as it’s the correct one. If it doesn’t work today, I recommend bookmarking this page and checking back in a few weeks.
Step 1: The Application
First, you have to sign up for the program and fill out a detailed profile about yourself. This includes your shoe and apparel size, your fitness habits, the types of activities you do, and where you live.

To sign up for Reebok’s product testing panel, visit https://producttesting.reebok.com/ and fill out the form.
The form contains 6 steps/pages where you have to provide information about yourself so they can create a profile and match you with the right product testing jobs.
Step 2: Getting Selected
Once there is a testing opportunity, Reebok’s Product Testing Team will select testers based on the needs of that particular test.
For example, they might need a trail runner with a size 10 shoe in a rocky, mountainous region, or a CrossFit athlete who wears a size Medium.
If you are selected, they will send you an email invitation to participate.
Step 3: The Test Period
If you accept it, they will send you their product to test along with instructions.
Once you receive the shoe or apparel, you’ll need to use it for the required amount of time (it’s usually between 3 and 6 weeks).
During the testing period, you will be required to keep a detailed log of your daily activity relevant to the use of the product.
Step 4: Feedback and Return
At the end of the testing period (which again lasts about 3 to 6 weeks), you’ll answer a few questions online about your experience with the product.
Then, you’ll send the product back to them so their lab team can analyze it.
Don’t worry, they provide the shipping label.
Do I Get to Keep the Shoes After Testing Them?
Normally, no!
You are required to send the product back. After all, the main reason they conduct these tests is to analyze how the shoe holds up after extended use. Without you sending the shoe back, it would be a waste of time for them.
However, most people jump at the chance to be the first to try new products, so that’s enough incentive for most.
That said, Reebok says: “For successfully completing your test, you will receive free Reebok products as their way of saying thanks.”
So, yes, you do get free Reebok products after completing each test.
Official Reebok Product Tester Requirements (Who Can Apply?)
Here are some of the requirements according to the company for joining the panel:
- You must be active (run, walk, play, or train daily).
- You must fit one of their test product sizes.
- You must meet the minimum weekly activity requirement.
- You must provide body measurements for apparel testing.
- You must have a valid email and access to the internet.
- You must be able to read and write in English.
- You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the US.
- You must not be participating in any of their competitors’ product testing programs.
- You cannot share any info about the test.
Pro Tips for Getting Accepted for the Reebok Product Testing Program
Getting picked as a Reebok product tester can be competitive, but there are ways to give yourself an edge.
If you want to increase your chances of being selected as a Reebok product tester, keep these tips in mind.
Be Really Specific
Don’t just say “I run” on your application. Give details.
For example: “I run 15 miles per week on paved sidewalks and asphalt,” or “I play indoor basketball twice a week.”
The more precise you are, the easier it is for Reebok to match you with the right product test.
Keep Your Profile Updated
Changed your shoe size, started a new sport, or moved to a different state?
Update your profile right away. Active, accurate profiles get noticed and have a much higher chance of being selected.
Respond Quickly to Emails
Test invitations are usually first-come, first-served. Make sure emails from Reebok land in your main inbox, not spam, so you can respond immediately.
Acting fast could be the difference between getting chosen or missing out.
Show Off Your Fitness Variety
Running’s great, but Reebok wants testers who do more.
If you do CrossFit, yoga, cycling, or strength training, mention it. Showing you’re active in different ways makes your feedback more valuable.
Track Product Performance Like a Mini-Experiment
Instead of just using the shoes or apparel casually, treat them like a small experiment.
Note things like how your pace changes with the shoes, any hotspots or discomfort, and how they hold up in different weather or surfaces.
Maybe even add a few pictures or a short video if allowed.
This level of detailed, real-world data is something most testers don’t provide, and it makes your feedback stand out to Reebok (which means you get invited to even better tests!).
Is the Reebok Product Testing Program Legit or a Scam?
Let me be crystal clear: The Reebok Product Testing program is 100% legit.
It is run directly by the company to improve its products.
As long as you use the official link above, you are signing up for the real program and not a third-party scam.

Is Becoming a Reebok Product Tester Worth It?
So, is the Reebok product testing program actually worth your time?
In my opinion: absolutely, if you’re the right fit.
If you’re someone who’s serious about your fitness, logging miles in your shoes, and ready to give honest, detailed feedback, it’s a no-brainer.
You get early access to new gear, your input helps shape future products, and you score free stuff just for doing what you’re already doing.
That said, being a tester isn’t instant, it takes patience to get selected and a real commitment to testing the products properly.
But if fitness is your thing, applying to be an official Reebok product tester is a legit way to get free gear while staying active.
I can not click on your link because it says it is risky. I am REALLY interested! I have PN (Neuropathy) very badly and my feet are ALWAYS hurting! Sketchers don’t even touch the pain…. I would like to see if your product can help me!!
Cassie, I’m sorry you’re having trouble. Obviously, Reebok is a legitimate site, but sometimes you’ll get these warnings when trying to visit even legitimate sites due to a few technical reasons (wrong website security settings, SSL certificate issues, etc.).
That said, I just checked, and it shows the same warning for me. So, the problem is on their end. It seems like their website is actually down. I’m going to reach out to them to see if I can get any updates. I will update the post then. Please check back here periodically to see if there are any changes.
In the meantime, please check out our posts about shoe testing programs from other brands like Adidas, Nike, Puma, and others.
