Who wouldn’t want free razors, right?
If you’re like most men and women who have to shave a few times a week (or daily) the cost of razor blades probably drives you crazy.
If so, you’re not alone.
Razor blades are expensive, often costing between $20 to $30 a package.
And since the lifespan of a razor can be as short as five weeks, the cost over the course of a year can really add up.
Of course, you can also save some money by subscribing to a razor subscription service like the Dollar Shave Club (read my review). It is cheaper than buying name brand products like Gillette, Schick, Harry’s and Venus.

How to Get Razors for Free
Since we love free stuff and saving money here at MoneyPantry, here are some of the best ways to score free razors and razor samples.
1. Sign up for PinchMe
PinchMe is one of the best free subscription box companies. They basically send you free sample boxes that contain samples and full size products, anything from free snacks and drinks, to free shampoo samples, candles and even razors.
All you have to do sign up for free, pick a few categories (for the kinds of product samples you want) and wait for your free sample box to be mailed to you.
2. Use Swagbucks
One of the easiest ways to get free anything is to use reward sites. With rewards sites like Swagbucks, you get paid for doing stuff you already do. Watching TV, playing games, online shopping, taking surveys and more.
You can then redeem your earnings for free gift cards for Amazon, Target, Walmart and many other retailers.
Sign up for Swagbucks, do a few free offers, then use your free gift card to get yourself razors. By the way, you can get $5 free if you sign up now.
3. Use Just Free Stuff
I love this site. When it comes to freebie sites, many are hard to navigate and find what you’re looking for. But this one is very well organized. It is really easy to find the kinds of free stuff you are looking for.
You can either search by category or by typing “razor” in the search box.
4. Ask companies
I always hear stories from people who have gotten full size products for free by simply contacting their favorite company and asking for it.

It especially is effective with small and less expensive products like razors. Most companies will send you a free razor because they know that if you use it and like it, you’ll most likely become a customer for life.
You can find the contact info if your favorite razor brand by visiting their website. Look at the bottom of the page or upper right corner menu for the “contact us” tab. They’ll have mail, email and phone number info on that page.
Just write them a short note. Be polite and mention how you like their brand and would love some free samples.
5. Follow Gillette on Facebook
Even if you have never shaved, you know Gillette. It’s arguably one of the biggest razor brands out there.
And yes, you can get free razors from the company.
From time to time, Gillette runs promotions where they give away razors to people.
For example, they had one a few months back called, Gillette Fusion ProGlide Challenge. Participants received a free sample of the company’s latest product, Gillette Fusion ProGlide.
That particular promotion has ended but the company runs promotions like that all the time.
To make sure you don’t miss the next freebie offer, follow Gillette on Facebook. That way when they announce the newest promo, you’ll be able to see it right away and get your free Gillette razor.
6. Free Bromley’s Razors
Bromley’s is a new (ish) company that sells razor blades. They run this promotion from time to time where you can get free razors by mail.
All you have to do is visit this page, scroll to the bottom of the page and sign up for a free Bromley’s Smooth Operator 7-Blade Razor!
The kit comes with a razor, shave balm and shaving cream. You also get coupons to use for future purchases.
If you visit the page and they are out of free razors, be sure to bookmark the page and check back often. They will have the same offer available again.
