This is such an easy way to get your hands on a free Yankee Candle.
Sometimes you’ll even find buy one get two free deals – getting two candles for free is even better!
At the time of writing, there was a buy one get two free deal on medium and small candles. You just have to use the code BESTDEAL at the checkout.

2. Use Rewards Sites to Get Candles at No Cost
Rewards websites, or GPT (Get Paid To) websites are sites that pay you for completing offers and tasks that you probably do everyday online anyway.
Usually, these sites reward you with points that you can then redeem for cash or for gift cards.

This works out well if you’re looking for free candles because you can use the cash or gift cards to purchase candles and basically get them for free.
Now one of our favorite rewards sites is Swagbucks.
Other good ones include:
- TreasureTrooper
- Perk
- InboxDollars
- SquishyCash
- MyPoints
- InstaGC
- QuickRewards
- EarnHoney
- Gift Hunter Club
What’s great about these sites is that many of them give you gift cards to brands and retailers that sell candles.
Swagbucks for example let’s you transfer your points onto an Amazon.com gift card. This is great because Amazon sells loads of different candles. I’ve gotten lots of Yankee candles from there.
So you could use your free gift card or cash to buy a candle.
3. Join the Yankee Candle Fan Club
If it’s free Yankee candles that you’re after you should definitely check out the Yankee Candle Fan Club.
It’s basically a loyalty program that you can join to earn points every time you shop.
Once you’ve accumulated enough points you get a voucher.
You can put this voucher toward future purchases.
Accrue enough points and you could get yourself some freebies!
4. Get Free Scent Samples from Hillside Home Candle Co.
You can get free candles in the form of free sample sent to you by mail through Hillside Home Candle Co.
It’s a company that offers artisan crafted candles and home scents.
You can get free wax tart samples from Hillside Home Candle Co.
There are plenty of scents available, such as:
- Apple & Oak
- French Vanilla Oak
- Log Cabin
Just add the ones you want to your cart.
You will need to make a purchase to get the free samples though.
Get your free samples here.
5. Do the Same with Surveys
It’s not just rewards sites that offer gift cards and cash; survey sites do as well.
With these sites, you take simple surveys and you get paid.
Like with rewards sites, some survey sites give you points that you can redeem for cash or gift cards and others give you straight up cash from the outset.
Some good survey sites to check out include:
- Toluna
- Vindale Research
- iPoll
- MySurvey
- Pinecone Research
- QuickThoughts
- SurveySavvy
- Darwin’s Data
- Google Opinion Rewards
- Ipsos i-Say
- Survey Junkie
- Qmee
Again you can use your gift cards or cash to get candles at no cost.
6. Write Reviews to Get Free Candles
Some sites out there give you heavily discounted or free products in exchange for a review.
On these sites Amazon sellers offer their products for free or at a huge discount because they need some reviews of them.
You may need to post a review on your blog or on social media – basically where the seller asks you to.
What’s great is that often you aren’t required to leave a review – it’s more of a courtesy thing.
Some of these sites could have candles on them that you could get for free.
Here are some sites to check out:
7. Use Coupons for Free (or Heavily Discounted) Candles
Deals and coupon websites can be such great places to save money on candles.
Because they have coupons and deals that can save you a lot of cash on candles or even get you a candle for free.
If you’re looking for a free Yankee Candle coupon these sites are great.
Brad’s Deals for example has coupons for up to 90% off Yankee candles.
Here are a few more sites to find coupons and deals on Yankee candles:
- Coupons.com
- Groupon
- DealCatcher
- Slickdeals
- CouponChief
- Offers.com
- GivingAssistant
- DealsPlus
- Krazy Coupon Lady
These sites are also great for finding candles from other brands and stores. Just have a browse and you’re sure to find some great deals and freebies.
Bonus Tip: Be Wary of Freebie Sites
When you search for free candles on Google, lots of freebie websites come up which claim to offer free candles.
We recommend you be wary of these types of offers.
Not all of them are scams and some sites do offer legit freebies.
But many of them are just out to get your info and never actually send you anything for free.
People report this happening with sites like Get It Free – see our review here.
And sites like Product Testing USA also get complaints.
There are some legit sites that post freebies, like Krazy Coupon Lady.
Just make sure to research a site before you sign up. Read reviews on places like BBB, Reddit and Sitejabbber and look at what people who’ve actually used the freebie site have to say about it.
Closing Thoughts
There aren’t tons of different ways to get candles at no cost but there are a good few to choose from.
Make sure you give our tips on how to get free candles a go.
And really do keep your eyes open for deals that come up on candle company websites, like YankeeCandle.com and on those deal sites we mentioned above.
Keep an eye out for great deals in the places we mentioned above and you’re sure to get some freebies.
Combine all of our tips and you could get yourself a great selection of free candles.

I’ll share a thought. I’ve taken a survey twice and all I’ve gotten is like 100 phone calls from the stupid insurance companies are whatever else it is your selling or we’re surveying and I have not seen one damn candle. This is very upsetting because I take the time to fill them out and then when you get the email to verify your address and what not and then you have to fill the damn survey out again. This is a bunch of BS! Shame on you.
Saeed
Sorry to hear about your experience, Paula. Which survey site did you use? All the sites we mentioned here are legit but each have their own rules and guidelines. You also need to read their TOS as some of them will send you ads.
