Cash Card Loading Instructions and Tips
Here are tips and instructions on loading your Cash Card at a retailer.
Though specific money-loading policies vary from store to store, the guidelines below should generally apply to the above retailers.
Before you go, bring a driver’s license or state ID just in case a cashier asks for it.
After you arrive at your chosen retailer, you’ll need to generate a barcode for the cashier to scan:

- Go to Cash App and tap the Bank icon.
- Scroll down and touch “Paper Money.”
- Press “Show Barcode.”
Once they scan it, give them your dollar bills to deposit, and you’ll find the money in your Cash App balance.
Other Important Cash Card Loading Info
All transactions include a $1 fee, and you should limit one transaction per barcode.
