SurveySavvy Review: Scam or Legit? (How to Earn Money Without Taking Surveys!)

SurveySavvy is very transparent about what information they are keeping and what information they aren’t storing. When you make your account, they will walk you through exactly what you are consenting too.

Once you finish making your account, you will receive an email to activate your account.

Once you join, it’s highly recommended you fill out your profile with additional information. This will get you access to additional surveys.

To do this, log in and click “Profile” which will be located at the top of the screen. Then click the “portraits” tab. This will give you access to portrait surveys.

Portrait surveys are a series of questions pertaining to specific aspects of your life. Answering these will let the site know which surveys you will qualify for. This is important because you can earn more money for each survey you qualify for.

Step 2: Take surveys

Once you are a member, you can log in at any time to see available surveys.

The site will also send you survey invitations via email whenever there is a survey available.

Step 3: Get Paid

You can request a payment as long as you have $1 in your account I (which is very easy to reach since most of their surveys pay more than $0.50).

Most of their surveys pay between $1 and $2. But there are surveys that pay $5, $10 and in rare cases $20 or more.

How can I earn money?

Like with most other survey and rewards sites, like Swagbucks (read my Swagbucks review here), taking surveys isn’t the only you can make money with SS.

There are actually four different ways you can earn money with SurveySavvy.

Each way is unique and requires little effort.

Online Surveys

Let’s start with online surveys.

Companies use this site to gather consumer opinions from people like you.

With this site, you can become connected with the companies. You earn money for sharing the opinions they want to hear.

After you finish your membership profile, the site will take that information and find surveys from companies who are looking for people like you.

You see, every company has a list of requirements for participants in their survey. Instead of sifting through hundreds of surveys for the one you qualify for, this site makes it easier.

To qualify for the basic criteria of a survey, you must fit into a target demographic group. If you fit, the site will email you an invitation to participate in that specific survey.

In the beginning, there is a short in-depth screening portion that determines if you meet all the needed requirements specified by the company. If you don’t, then the survey will stop so you won’t waste your time filling out something you don’t qualify for.

If you do qualify, the survey will continue on as normal.

Once you complete the survey, they will credit your account the amount of money they mentioned in the invitation.

There’s no specific amount of surveys you can receive while you are a member of the site. All of this is determined by your profile and what SurveySavvy’s clients are looking for.

To qualify for more surveys, it’s recommended you fill out your profile as much as possible.

Install the SavvyConnect app

Many companies that work with this site are interested in behavioral research. They want to know what interests in consumers and what kind of ads work.

That is why this site launched SavvyConnect.

This is an optional application that runs on the background of your desktop while you browse the internet.

Essentially you get paid to search and browse online.

It analyses your behavior and then submits data to companies for their research.

Of course, there are benefits for you when you use this application.

By having it installed, you gain:

• access to supplementary paid surveys
• receive money for having the app running on your computer
• have instant access to all of your survey invitations right on your desktop

You get paid $5 a month per device you have it installed on. So if you have 3 devices, you can get $15 a month.

If at any time, you’d like to remove it, they have an easy uninstallation process.

The app also recognizes most “private browsing” and “incognito” modes from browsers. It will stop collecting data whenever you enter these modes through your internet browser.

This site also has a great privacy protection policy. They will never sell or share your personally identifiable information. When they give survey results to their clients, it’s kept anonymous.

They also have an anti-spam policy. They won’t sell your email address to anyone, send spam, or send unsolicited messages to your email address.

Referrals

One huge benefit this site has over others is its referral program.

This is a patented referral payment system that can actually earn you more money than taking surveys.

They provide referral links that you can post publicly anywhere.

If you have a social media presence, on websites such as:

• Facebook
• Twitter
• Tumblr
• A blog

Then you can advertise your referral link there.

They also will send a private invitation to whoever you request.

You earn money off referrals when your direct referrals complete surveys.

However, unlike many other sites, you also earn money from indirect referrals. These are referrals that your direct referrals made. When an indirect referral completes a survey, you will receive an incentive.

Sweepstakes and Contests

Every once in a while, the site will host contests and special promotions.

This gives members the opportunity to earn money while doing something fun.

For instance, one contest asked members to make a video in response to a video a SurveySavvy employee made called Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down.

Another asked members to make a SurveySavvy jingle.

These contests had $500 prizes each.

So, next time you want to have some fun and maybe a lot of money, keep an eye out for one of these sweepstakes.

How much can you make?

How much you make depends on how often you get invites to surveys and if you complete them or not.

It also depends on if you are using their behavioral research software.

If you have SavvyConnect installed, you will make $5 a month guaranteed. That, plus the addition of any surveys you fill, can add up quickly.

“On the site as a whole I’ve made around $400 so far (including surveys),” said one Reddit reviewer who had been using the site for 8 months.

Even if you aren’t very active and only do SavvyConnect on one device, that $5 a month can add up to $60 a year.

How does SurveySavvy pay you?

Claiming your incentives is an easy process.

In order to claim your incentive, you must have at least $1 USD in your account.

Then you can request payment under the account section when you are logged into the site.

Payment is made via check and mailed through the U.S. post to whatever address you wrote when you made your account.

The only major downside to this site is the long payment processing time. Because the cheques are being mailed, it will take longer to receive your money than an electronic payment.

So is SurveySavvy worth it?

According to many users of this site, yes.

“SurveySavvy is actually impressing me, I’ve gotten $40 in the past 3-4 months for doing nearly nothing,” said one Reddit reviewer.

Overall, this site offers a great opportunity to make money with little effort.

The pros are:

• Takes very little time to do
