With both the website (Perk.com) and the apps, you can earn tokens and points for completing a variety of tasks that range from word searches, to shopping.

Other Features
Okay, so above, we’ve outlined the rewards you can get with Perk, and all of the ways that you can earn them.
In this section, we’re going to cover a couple of other features of Perk.com.
Perk Wallet App
As we mentioned above, Perk has eight apps that you can use to earn points and tokens.
But, it actually has a ninth app available called Perk Wallet.
This app doesn’t earn you points. Instead, you use it to keep track of your rewards from all of the apps in one place.
Using this app, you can also:
- Redeem your points for gift cards for hundreds of brands, or other rewards, like airline miles, sweepstakes entries and electronics. Or you can make a charitable donation.
- When you do redeem your points for gift cards through Perk Wallet, you’ll get access to special discounts.
- Get access to all of your redeemed gift cards on the go. So you can use them in-store or online.
- Convert your points to cash with Perk Plastik (more about that below).
Here’s where to get it:
Perk Plastik
As we mentioned above, Perk offers a prepaid debit card called Perk Plastik.
It’s actually a Discover card. And, as we also stated previously, you’ll need to download and install the Perk Wallet app to get one.
You can load it with money from your converted points.
Who Qualifies for the Card and How to Apply
Please note that you can only get this card if you are a US citizen or a legal resident with a Social Security number.
Here’s how to apply:
- Step One: Open up the Perk Wallet app and go to the menu section.
- Step Two: Choose the “Get Perk Plastik option and follow the prompts. When you sign up, you’ll need to provide information like your name, home address, and date of birth. You might also have to provide a copy of identifying documents, like your driver’s license.
- Step Three: Wait for the card to arrive in the mail. This takes around 7 to 10 working days.
Since this isn’t a credit card, there’s no credit check involved.
Are there any Fees?
There are no annual fees for the card.
There are only two fees that you could be charged:
- A card replacement fee of $4.50.
- A fee for written statements $7.00.
Adding Money to your Perk Plastik Card
It’s really easy to add money to the card as well.
You will need the Perk Wallet app, as we mentioned above.
Once you have that app, here’s what you’ll need to do to add your funds:
- Step One: Open up the Perk Wallet app, and then tap “Manage Card”.
- Step Two: Tap “Add Money.”
- Step Three: Your perk points will be converted into USD.
You can load up to $25 a day onto the card. And, you can choose to upload in $1, $2, $5, or $10 increments. The total on your card can’t be more than $1,000 either.
Using your Perk Plastik Card
Once your card is activated and loaded, you can use it use it anywhere in the United States where Discover card is accepted.
You can also use your card for:
- Online shopping.
- Paying bills online.
- To pay for gas – although the company recommends that you pay inside at the cash register, rather than at the pump.
- Hotels, restaurants and car rental companies – although the company does state that you should be aware that when the total amount due is unknown, merchants can pre-authorize the purchase, and this puts a hold on the funds. So, you can always contact the hotel, rental company or restaurant ahead of time to ask about their prepaid card policy.
You can’t use this card to get cash back or at the ATM.
What’s interesting about this card is that you can use it to pay for part of the purchase.
So, this means that if you have some money on the card, but not enough to cover the full amount, then you can ask the merchant to just charge a part of the purchase to your Plastik card, and pay for the rest of the total using cash or another card.
Be aware though that not all merchants allow these split transactions.
You can check your Perk Plastik balance at any time on the home screen of the Perk Wallet app. And, if you want more details about your card, then select “Manage Card” in the menu.
How much can you earn with Perk?
Perk has such a wide variety of ways for its users to earn points.
It’s comparable to Swagbucks in terms of the amount of activities and tasks available.
Now, as for how much you can earn, it’s important to note that the amount of points you earn differs from task to task.
Below, we’ve got a few examples from Reddit users on what they’ve earned using Perk.
- Users in this post report earning around $4 per day – but it’s important to note that many of them are using multiple devices.
- On this thread, users report earning $4 to $6 a day – again many users are running multiple devices.
- A user in this post reports that they earn $1 to $1.50 a day – this is probably a more realistic figure, since this user does not mention using multiple phones, just that they reset their phone.
So, Perk isn’t going to earn you a ton of money. But, it could earn you a solid $30 a month for doing really easy tasks.
So, in a year, you could potentially earn $360 – which isn’t bad for tasks as simple as watching trailers or playing word search puzzles.
Tips for Earning Points with Perk
Unfortunately, Perk has started to crack down on a lot of tips and hacks that people were using to earn more.
But, there are still two things that you can do to ensure that you’re getting the most out of the program.
1. Follow Perk on Social Media
If you’re looking for the chance to earn extra Perk Points, then make sure that you like and follow Perk on social media – the brand itself even suggests that you do this!
This is because it often provides more chances to earn and exclusive giveaways through its social media profiles.
So, this really is a great way to build up your points faster. Here are the brand’s social media profiles:
2. Use a Few of the Apps
If you really want to maximise your earnings with Perk, then you should definitely try using a mix of its apps.
When it comes to earnings, on sites like Reddit, many users report that the following apps are best:
- Perk TV
- Perk TV Live
- Perk Pop Quiz
- Perk Word Search
However, you might find that other apps work better for you.
So, we’d highly recommend trying out as many of the apps as you can to see which ones work best for you.
A Quick Note About Multiple Devices and Hacks
One tip that many users report is that you should run Perk on multiple devices. But, we would recommend against this.
While, many people online report that Perk can be used on up to 5 devices, with the same account Perk itself no longer states this in its terms and conditions.
However, it does say in its terms and conditions:
“Members are not permitted to attempt “gaming” or “hacking” the Perk program in any way.”
And that overuse can result in your account being banned:
“Perk at its sole discretion will and can cancel or remove points from your account or suspend your account entirely if Perk has reasons to believe that rewards were earned through means that are against the Perk Terms & Conditions as well as the spirit of the guidelines.”
So, do keep that in mind.
Also, if more than one person in your household wants to use Perk, then you will need to contact the company and provide identification:
“Members are permitted to create one account per household. Multiple accounts via the same IP will require you to provide Government Identification in order to verify other members in the same household.”
Closing thoughts
Here’s the deal….
Using Perk isn’t going to make you rich.
But, what Perk is great for is getting your hands on free gift cards, or even cash to put towards purchases if you use the Perk Plastik card.
You could save up your points and use them to get a great stash of free gift cards that you could use yourself or give as gifts.
And, what’s great about Perk is that it does give you so many ways to earn.
Plus, it’s so easy.
These tasks can be completed while you’re waiting in-line or during a commercial break, in the case of the Word Search or Pop Quiz apps, or even while you’re doing something else in the case of Perk TV, Perk TV Live and Viggle.
