I’ll level with you here, Instacart batch grabbers can be pretty hard to come by. This is because they are technically forbidden by Instacart’s policy. I’ll go into a little more detail about this in the next section. But, for now, I’ll just say that because Instacart doesn’t want shoppers using batch grabbers or bots, these apps are usually removed from the Google Play store. So, it’s not that easy to find and download them. Also, most batch grabbers are for Android devices, so if you have an iPhone, then batch grabbers won’t work for you.

One of the most popular Instacart batch grabbers is InstaMan.

Sadly, Instaman has been removed from the Google Play store. People still download its APK files from different sites though and install it manually.

You can do a Google search for “Instaman batch grabber apk,” and you should get plenty of results. I won’t include a link here because these applications are often taken down, so you will get more up to date results by doing a quick Google search.

Some Shoppers even hire developers to make batch grabbers from scratch for them. This can cost $100s.

Should you use an Instacart batch grabber?

Many Shoppers want to know, “How do you hack Instacart batches?” or “How do you cheat on Instacart?”

While Instacart batch grabbers might seem like a good way to cheat the system, it’s best to avoid using them.

This is because using batch grabbers is against the Instacart Shopper terms and services.

In section 3.2.e, it reads:

• “You may not use or promote the use of any form of modifications, exploits, or other unauthorized means to interfere with, or gain undue advantage in your use of the Instacart Platform.”

Section 3.2.g reads:

• “You may not make any automated uses of the Shopper App or the Instacart Platform or gain any other unauthorized access therewith.”

Second 3.2.h reads:

• “You may not attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, hack, defeat, or overcome any of Instacart’s software, encryption technologies, or security measures or data transmitted, processed or stored by Instacart.”

So, using a batch grabber would do many of the things that Instacart prohibits, such as interfere with the platform, give you an undue advantage, automate the process of using the Shopper app, and hack Instacart’s software.

Overall, you should not use an Instacart batch grabber. If you do, you could violate the Shoppers terms of service and have your account deactivated. When your account is deactivated, you won’t be able to use Instacart to make money.

How to Get More Instacart Batches the Right Way

Since it’s not a good idea to use batch gabbers, you should instead use other Instacart Shopper tips and tricks to increase your income.

Here are some simple ways to get more Instacart batches and make more money.

1. Consider doing double batch orders

Instacart can send out double batches to Shoppers. With these, you complete two deliveries at once. Basically, you assemble two grocery orders and then you make two separate deliveries.

Shoppers can qualify for double batches once they have completed 60 deliveries.

Doing double batch orders can increase your hourly income because you can just shop at one store for two customers rather than having to drive to a second store for the second order.

But, double batch orders do require a little more effort. This is because you need to make sure that the orders are kept separate.

In the Instacart app, you should mark items as found as you add them to your cart, and make sure you have a system in place for dividing products in the cart and in your car for each customer. To keep things organized, it can be a good idea to have two different crates or bags.

2. Improve your rating

One of the best ways to make more money with Instacart is to simply improve your Shopper rating. This is because, as I mentioned earlier, Shoppers with higher ratings get priority access to batches. Also, Shoppers with a rating of 4.7 stars or above are eligible to join Cart Star Rewards.

Cart Star Rewards is a rewards program from Instacart that gives Shoppers who maintain a rating of 4.7 or higher extra benefits, such as cash back for gas and priority access to batches. Cart Star Rewards isn’t available everywhere yet, but it should be available across the United States by mid-November.

Once Cart Star Rewards is available in your area, you will see your reward tier status in your app under your Shopper profile. And, you’ll receive an email with your tier status.

So, having a high Shopper rating is definitely important if you want access to more batches.

Instacart customers can rate you after every delivery. So, it’s important to provide great customer service.

Here are some tips you can use to improve your customer service:

• Use an insulated food bag. This will keep hot foods hot and cold foods cold. Customers won’t appreciate thawed out frozen pizza or cold fresh meals that are supposed to be warm. So, purchase an insulated food bag. You can get them pretty cheap at places like Walmart and Amazon.
• Communicate with your customers. You should contact customers when you start working on their order, if any replacements are required, and if there’s going to be any delay.
• Be friendly and polite when you make your deliveries. Customers will appreciate it. Also, ask where the customer would like you to leave their groceries, and if they’re elderly or you’re delivering heavy items, then ask the customer if they need help with anything.
• Go the extra mile. For example, you could take free samples to the customer or give them small thank you notes where you say that you’re grateful for their business, and politely remind them to rate you 5 stars. Of course, you don’t have to go the extra mile, but it can help to give your rating a boost and get more tips.

3. Use multiple apps

If you want more delivery opportunities, it’s a good idea to sign up for a few different delivery apps that provide jobs similar to Instacart Shopper. You’ll get access to more delivery orders, which allows you to earn more money.
