However, most of these items need to be purchased from the Minecraft Marketplace using Minecoins. And, well, Minecoins are not free. You will need to purchase Minecoins using real money. If you’re on a budget, or just don’t want to spend cash on Minecraft, you may be wondering how to get Minecoins for free.
Minecoins are available on lots of different devices, such as Android, iOS (iPhone and iPad), Amazon Kindle Fire, Amazon Kindle Fire TV, Gear VR, Oculus Rift, Windows 10, Windows 10 Mobile, and Xbox One.
Free Minecone Hacks
In this post, I’ll cover ways you can get free Minecoins, including methods I have used to get them for free on my Xbox One.
1. Microsoft Rewards
I would definitely recommend trying out Microsoft Rewards if you want free Minecoins.
It’s a rewards program from Microsoft that gives you points when you use Bing or Microsoft Edge to search the internet. You’re paid for each search you do (there is a limit on the number of searches you can do in a day though).
Also, you can earn points for doing really fun and easy quizzes! You can redeem your points for Xbox gift cards. You can use your Xbox gift card to get Minecoins for free!
Having an Xbox live account is actually a great idea if you plan to make purchases in the Marketplace.
You don’t need an Xbox Live account to make purchases in the Marketplace. But, a free Xbox Live player profile will allow your Minecoins and your Marketplace content to be available to you on any supported platform (except for Minecraft: Java Edition). So, this enables you to use coins and maps you purchase across other devices when you’re logged in. So, it can be a good account to have.

If you don’t have an account, you can create one by going to https://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/minecraft/sign-up and creating a new free account.

You can also redeem them for money to your PayPal account. Then, you can use your PayPal funds to get Minecoins for free.
It also allows you to redeem your points for Xbox gift cards, iTunes gift cards, and PSN codes too. Now, as I said before, you purchase content in the Marketplace using a currency called Minecoins, but this currency is called Tokens for PlayStation users. So, if you are a PlayStation user, then you can always get a PSN gift card and use it to buy Tokens.
Idle Empire is good though because it actually offers Minecoins as a redemption option, and you can also just get cold hard cash to your PayPal account that you can use on the Minecraft Marketplace.
