Thanks to the sharing economy, these day there are many different ways to make money with your car, including driving for Uber and Lyft, or renting out your car with companies like JustPark.
But another better and easy way that doesn’t involve you changing anything is getting paid to put ads on your car, or car Wrapping, as it’s known.
There is a company named FreeCarMedia that makes it very easy to do that.

How FreeCarMedia Works
The process is simple really.
First you have to sign up and fill out the application. To do so visit: http://freecarmedia.com/
This application will have questions mainly related to your car, location, and how many hours a day you drive. It builds a profile based on that info.
FreeCash: It pays you to test apps, play games & take surveys. Get paid up to $497.82 per offer! Start Earning!
Earn Haus: Earn up to $25 per survey. Plus same-day payments via PayPal, Venmo & Check! Join Earn Haus!
Swagbucks: Get paid to watch videos, shop online, take surveys and more. Join now & get $10 instantly!
InboxDollars: Paid over $57 Million to members to watch videos, take surveys, shop and more. Get $5 instantly!
KashKick: Get paid directly into your PayPal for watching videos, surfing, shopping and more. Join KashKick Now!
Once you sign up and fill out the application to become a driver, you are entered into their database. Then whenever there is an advertiser that is interested in your profile and wants to put their ads on your car, you will be contacted by the company.
At that point you will have a chance to check the visual design and decide whether or not you want to accept the offer or reject it.
Installation of the Vinyl Decal
If you accept the offer, the next phase begins where you will have to put the ad (normally a vinyl decal) on your car.
In some cases (if the decal is small and doesn’t require special skills to install), they will just mail you the vinyl decal and ask you to install it yourself.
In other cases where the decals are bigger and require a specialist to install them, the company will find you a local installer close to you and have them install it for you.
The high quality vinyl graphic will be installed on your vehicle using safe material that will not harm your paint.
How long will the ad stay on the vehicle?
That depends on the advertiser/sponsor.
Each advertiser/sponsor has different requirements. Some will want their graphic on your car for a few months, some will go for a few years.
You will normally be notified of all this information before you accept the job.
How much money can I make?
The amount you are paid varies based on the size of the advert, the make and model of your car, your location, the sponsor, your driving routine, etc.
Advertisements
On average, a small stick-on decal gets you $50 a month, while a fully wrapped car earns you around $400 a month.
You are paid monthly via PayPal or by Check.
Requirements
There are a few requirements that you must pass/meet in order to be accepted into the program.
Here are the terms and conditions according to the company:
- You must be 18 years or older
- Must not have any serious traffic violations or criminal record
- You have to pass a credit and background check
- Your car must be kept clean
- Your car must not be damaged
- You must have a valid drivers license
- You must have car insurance
The Bottom Line
Wrapping your car with ads and driving it around has to be one of the simplest way anyone can make extra money.
So if you do have a vehicle, I highly recommend you either use this company, or one of many other car wrapping companies out there, to take advantage of the opportunity.
You just might be able to earn your monthly car payment, or at the very least, a little extra pocket money.

Looking for away to get a free car from maybe a car dealership. I heard that dealerships sometimes have cars that have hitting damage in a major storm. But, I saw your information and can see possibility of maybe earning money by using the cat I have until I can get another. Can you help me. I am a 74 years old with limited income. With a car I feel like I can still make limited income to help myself live better. I have been driving over 45 years and have a clean driving recorded. Can you help. This would be a starter

Carolyn, you need to use the contact page on FreeCarMedia’s website to contact the company directly. I am sure they’ll be happy to help.
Scammie the scammer
These car wrap things are a scam. The send you a check which is MORE than they were supposed to. THen they ask YOU to write a check or give cash/gift cards to the “installer.” A few days later the check they gave YOU bounces and you have paid their “installers” real money…and the installers neve show up to wrap your car

Unfortunately there are lots of scammers out there pretending to be legit car wrap companies, BUT, legit car wrap companies DO EXIST! We encourage everyone to pay attention to any red flags, and never ever deposit a random check that just shows up from some company you’ve never heard of. Legit car wrap businesses are not going to blindly contact you, you need to contact them and apply. People can and do make money wrapping their cars, you just have to make sure you’re working with a legit company.
