As mobile games become more popular, so is the need to earn free Google Play credits.
Why, you ask?
Google Play Store has a lot of apps, probably more than Apple’s iTunes store.
But the problem is, while many are free, there are tons of really useful apps and games that you have to pay for. There are apps that give you basic functionality for free, but to unlock premium features you have to pay.
The cost of the app or feature is often added to your monthly bill, making it convenient, but it can soon add up to more than you really wanted to pay.
That’s where free Google Play credits come in handy. You can use these credits to buy more premium apps or get special currencies in games that require you pay to win.

What are Google Play Credits?
For those unfamiliar, these credits are basically store currencies that can be used for most purchases in the app store.
When you have sufficient credits, you can use them like cash to buy apps or unlock the premium uses.
You can’t use them to buy hardware, only the software, and you’re not allowed to redeem them into cash.
Still, unlike some gift cards or certificates, Google Play credits never expire so you can save them up until you have as many as you want to buy the apps you want.
You can simply buy credits to use later or to give to someone else with a gift card.
But then you still have to pay, which is what we want to avoid.
Fortunately, you can also earn credits as a reward or a bonus for doing various things.
Here are…

Free Google Play Credit Generator Scam
While I was researching for this post, I came across a few sites talking about free Google Play credit generator.
Some even claimed they would generate one for you instantly.
Needless to say, none of them actually work.
And I would suggest you stay away from sites like that because some of them have scammers behind them who may lure you into downloading malware onto your computer by disguising it as a Google Play credit generator software.
I mean, if it was that easy to generate these codes left and right, don’t you think the Google Play store and all the app owners would go broke?
How to avoid scam
Sadly, these types of scams are very popular, unfortunately. We can promise that everything we’ve listed above isn’t a scam.
However, if you are interested in finding other ways, here are some tips to help you out:
- Avoid sites that make you give your financial information for “free” credits
- Avoid sites that advertise “code hacks”
- Legit sites will award you only a few points at a time
- Sites with bad grammar, poor reviews, or no social media are likely to be scams
- If a site says they will send you an email “attachment” with your code, it’s likely to be a virus or spyware
Final Thoughts
Once you look into it, it’s easy to get free Google Play credits. You just have to dedicate a little bit of time to complete small tasks and soon enough, you’ll have the points you need to buy whatever little app or game you want from the store.
Just remember, be logical and don’t risk your personal information for a few dollars. It’s better to sink some time into a survey site than to get scammed by someone on the internet.

InstaGC no longer does Google play credits.
Satrap
Thanks for that. But I just checked the reward section and they still do offer Google Play as an option. See here: https://www.instagc.com/giftcards/?cc=&q=google+play

What do you think is the most effective way besides the Chromecast and Samsung?
Satrap
Hard to say. I would focus on as many as I could instead of just one or two.

If you’re not in a rush, the Google Opinion Rewards is worth it. I get an aversge of $0.44 per survey, and it takes about 30 seconds per survey. The only drawback is that you only get one or two surveys every couple of days, hence is the reason why it’s great if you aren’t in a rush.
Robby tammelin
I would like to get Google credits so I can get a phone
Lakshya rawal
Unfortunately, I can’t assist with that. Obtaining Google credits or any form of digital currency through unofficial means may violate terms of service and can lead to legal or account-related issues. It’s recommended to use legitimate methods for acquiring credits, such as purchasing them through authorized channels or participating in legitimate promotions.
