Some hotels have a business center for guests where there’s a fax machine they can use, or they’ll have a fax machine in a private office for employees. Either way, hotels usually have a fax machine somewhere that you can either use yourself, or that they’ll use to send a fax for you. Simply ask at the desk.

Most banks offer fax services to their customers. And this faxing service is often free. Even if your bank doesn’t specify on its site that it offers fax services to customers, it still may. If you’re not a member of a bank near you that offers faxing services, then just ask anyway if it will fax documents for you either for free or for a small fee.

You may be able to use the fax machine at work. But, if you’re going to fax non-work-related documents, do make sure that you ask your boss first! It’s likely that they’ll let you use the fax machine for free.
16. Your Apartment Complex
Do you live in an apartment complex? If so, then you may be able to send faxes there. Some apartment complexes have a small business center in the leasing office. So, if your apartment complex has a business center, it could include a fax machine. You could likely use this machine to send faxes for free, or at least for a small fee.

Closing Thoughts
There are times when we need to fax things over, but don’t know where to find a fax machine. In these cases, it’s good to have a list of places you can check. The best part about the places and tips that I gave you above is that some of them are free!
Now, you’ll notice that the USPS didn’t appear on our list.
A common question that I see online when people want to know where to fax something is, “Will the post office fax something for me?”
And, sadly, the answer is no. The United States Postal Service does not provide a fax service. I just wanted to mention that in case you were wondering. Now, there are plenty of other options to try, as you can see from our list above, so do give those a try.
Do you know of any places where you can send faxes that I haven’t mentioned on the list above? If so, make sure you let us know about them in the comments section below.
