In today’s post, I’ll be covering some of the best paid survey sites in Canada.
Surveys are one of the best and easiest ways to make money online. Anyone can participate in online surveys and earn extra cash.
These days there are dozens of websites and apps that’ll pay you for taking surveys. However, many of them are only available to US residents. So if you live in other countries, your choices are very limited.
However, if you live in a few of the western countries with bigger economies (more companies means more market research studies!), such as Australia, the U.K. and Canada, you are not totally out of luck.
We have already published a post with a list of the best paid survey sites in the U.K.
If you’re Canadian, you may have found it tough to find sites that allow Canadian residents to participate in surveys.

Top Paying Canadian Survey Companies
Here are some of the best survey panels for residents of Canada.
(Please note that the earnings quoted below are in USD, rather than CAD, simply because many of the sites and apps below are US-based companies that accept Canadian members.)
Let’s start out with iPoll. This Canadian based site will pay you for providing your opinion on the products and services you use. iPoll is one of the best paying surveys that pay via PayPal. But if you don’t like PayPal payments, you can trade your earnings for Amazon or the App Store & iTunes gift cards.
2. Survey Junkie
Survey Junkie is another one you can join if you are Canadian. Complete your profile, and the site will match you with surveys. The website pays you cash to your PayPal account, or you can get gift cards for places like Amazon. Survey Junkie pays you $1 to $3 per survey.
Next on the list we have i-Say. This company pays you to take surveys. You can have your earnings sent to your PayPal account, or you can choose a gift card for retailers like Amazon, Walmart, and Tim Hortons. There are also Visa cards available. The site pays $0.10 to $1 per survey.
4. Opinion Outpost
Opinion Outpost will pay you in PayPal cash, Amazon gift card, or Visa gift card when you answer surveys. The site pays you up to $5 per survey.
Next on the list we have Swagbucks. This is a super popular website that accepts members not just in the United States, but in lots of other countries, like Canada and the UK.
The site pays you for sharing your opinion and it offers other ways for you to make money outside of surveys. You can also get paid to watch videos, shop online, and play games. You can cash out your earnings for a gift card for lots of different retailers like Amazon or you can get real cash sent to your PayPal account.
You can cash out your earnings for as little as $1 to $5 depending on the gift card option that you choose. The average payout per survey can be anywhere from $0.40 to $5.
The next site I want to mention is YouGov. This is a survey company that accepts Canadian members. The company pays you with either cash or vouchers for answering questions and taking part in surveys. According to the company, you can get your opinion featured in the news. You can get paid right to your bank account.
Toluna is a survey website that pays you for sharing your opinion. You can get your earnings sent to your PayPal account. Or you can choose to get a gift card instead for places like Amazon and Walmart.
With PrizeRebel, you can get paid to your PayPal account or get gift cards for retailers like iTunes and Amazon. You can redeem your earnings with as little as $1 to $5 in your account.
LifePoints is another great survey site for Canadian members. You get paid to share your feedback on products and brands. You’ll earn points for taking surveys that you can redeem for money to your PayPal account or for gift cards.
For more details and tips on how to increase your earnings, read our honest LifePoints review.
Finally, we have QuickRewards. This is one of the best survey sites out there for Canadians.
On this site, you can get paid for taking surveys. But that’s not all. The platform also pays you to play games, complete offers, watch videos, and shop online. You can cash out your earnings for money to your PayPal account or get a gift card for places like Walmart and Amazon.
What’s great about QuickRewards is that you only need to have 1 cent in your account in order to redeem your earnings. And, the site pays very fast too.
So, if you’re looking for Canadian survey sites that pay fast, then you may want to give QuickRewards a try.
How Much Do Canadian Surveys Pay?
Are online paid surveys worth it?
Well, it depends on what you are looking for. If you are wondering, “how can I make $500 fast“, then no, surveys are not worth it since while you can certainly make $1000 or more, it won’t be instant.
But if you are looking to make some extra cash in your spare time, then yes, online surveys are a great option.
The amount of money you earn depends on how many surveys you take and the site you use.
Here are some examples:
- Survey Junkie: Up to $3 per survey.
- Opinion Outpost: Up to $5 per survey
- Ipsos i-Say: $0.10 to $1 per survey.
- Swagbucks: $0.40 to $5 per survey with the occasional survey offering as much as $50.
Some surveys pay $50 or even $100s but this isn’t typical. Most of the time, you’ll earn from $0.25 to $5 per survey.
Tips for Success with Paid Surveys
Here are some tips you should keep in mind when taking surveys.
Sign up for multiple survey websites
Sign up for a few different survey sites. Doing this increases the number of surveys available to you that you actually qualify for which gives you more opportunities to make money online with surveys.
Set up an email account solely for survey sites
If you are signing up for multiple survey sites, and you should be, then you might want to consider setting up a separate email address. This will ensure that your regular inbox doesn’t get cluttered with emails about surveys.
A legit survey site will never make you pay to join. If a site asks you to pay a fee to sign up or to participate, then it is likely a scam. Similarly, don’t share any sensitive data like your Social Security Number, driver’s license number, credit card details, or bank details with any site or app.
Taking surveys can be a good way to make some extra money online in Canada or any other place on earth. Give these sites a try and you can bring in a little cash. Sure, survey sites are not going to make you rich. But that’s not the point of them. They are ideal for supplementing your regular income though. So do give them a try.

I have enjoyed Swagbucks in the past. I stuck with it for a few months, and even participated in a survey about butter, where they sent me 4 different types of butter in the mail, and there was a detailed discussion board with a moderator that asked specific questions about the labeling, among other things. That was the most I earned on that site, about $40 for an amazon gift card. I stopped participating due to not meeting requirements for surveys after a while. I’m unsure of why that happened, but I eventually stopped doing them. Another site I tried was Survey Junkie, which had the same issue over time. I also participated in a survey that had me do a virtual grocery store review where I was supposed to be purchasing dog food, and they asked detailed questions about the labeling and placement of it in the store. All were very interesting, and had I not been unable to qualify to take most surveys, I might still be participating in them. Overall in about 4 months I made about $60 in surveys, all in gift cards of my choosing.
Thanks for sharing your experience, Melissa. I am glad you earned a little extra cash and gift cards. And really, surveys sites are for that. Just to make a little extra cash on the side.
Thanks for letting me know about the website, it s helpful to me and I’ll come out well and invite friends
