How Much Do Survey Sites Pay?

Okay, so now you have lots of survey sites to consider – you’re probably wondering, how much money can I make with surveys?

Well, it really depends.

Each site has its own pay rate. And even on the same site pay can differ from survey to survey.

For example, a short survey will likely pay less than a longer, more complex survey.

Here are a couple of examples of how much survey sites pay:

• PanelBase: £0.25 to £10 per survey.
• Valued Opinions: Up to £5 for each paid survey you complete.
• Swagbucks: Swagbucks lists payment in USD, rather than GBP. So it says you can make up to $50 per survey. But most surveys pay 40 to 200 SB points. In dollars, 100 SB is equal to $1. There are also gift cards available in GBP. For most of these, one point is worth about £0.005, so 100 points is equal to about 50p.

Join a few survey sites and you could easily make £30 to £100 or more per month.

Tips for Making More Money with Paid Online Surveys

Here are some tips to help you make more money with UK survey companies:

Join multiple survey panels

This is my most important tip. Survey sites are good for making money. But the problem is you won’t qualify for every single survey. Some surveys will only be open to people from a certain demographic. And you won’t always fit that demographic.

So the solution is to join multiple survey sites.

Then you’ll have access to more surveys that you actually qualify for. This means you can make more money!

If you only earn £5 a week from one site, you can double this by joining two sites and earn £10 a week. Add in a third site and you could make £15 a week, and so on!

Set up a dedicated email address

The problem with joining lots of survey sites is that your inbox soon fills up with junk. So I’d highly recommend you set up a dedicated email address. Doing so allows you to keep your personal email inbox clutter free.

Places like Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo offer free email address so there’s no excuse not to sign up for a new one that you use solely for survey sites.

Never pay to join a site

A legit survey site will never ask you to pay a fee to join.

In fact, many survey and rewards sites like Swagbucks actually pay you to sign up!

If a site asks you to pay money before joining, this is a huge sign that it’s a fake survey site looking to scam you out of money.

Always avoid sites that ask you to pay to join.

Be careful with your personal information

When you use survey sites you’ll of course have to share details about your background, like your age, and also your opinion about products, services and places you visit.

However, you should always be really careful with what you share. If a site asks for your bank account numbers, credit card details, or National Insurance number, it’s likely to be a scam.

Of course, if you are getting paid to your bank account, you’ll need to share some details.

But a legit site would never ask for such sensitive information as your credit card number or National Insurance number.

So always be careful with how much information you share online. You don’t want to get scammed.

Cash in when you reach the withdrawal limit

It can be tempting to let your points build up. But you could actually lose out on money if you don’t cash-out as soon as you hit the withdrawal limit.

This is because on many sites, the points you earn expire. So if you wait too long to withdraw them, you’ll lose out on cash.

Be honest
