You can choose which surveys you want to do. You’ll be able to see how long a survey takes and how much it pays.

Other Features
Here are some other features of Prime Opinion.
Prime Opinion Welcome Bonus
As I briefly mentioned earlier, PO offers a $5 welcome bonus juts for joining the site. You don’t have to do anything else to get this welcome bonus. Just sign up and confirm your email. That’s’ it!
Leaderboard contest
Prime Opinion also has a leaderboard contest where the top earners can receive bonus points.
You can compete for the leaderboard once you have completed at least 10 surveys. The prize pool changes weekly based on the number of surveys completed. Usually though, hundreds of dollars are available to win.
Prime Opinion rewards a lot of top earners. The top 50 to 75 earners receive a prize, so there’s a good chance that you could be one of the winners. You’ll have a good chance of getting a prize if you’re an active member of the site.
The closer you are to the top of the leaderboard, the more bonus money you earn.
Since the leaderboard contest changes weekly, you have the chance to try to win weekly. This means that if there’s a week where you haven’t had much time to take surveys, so you haven’t completed that many, then you can start again the next week and try to compete for bonus earnings.
Daily streak
Prime Opinion provides a daily streak bonus. This bonus is basically a reward for being active on the site.
If you come back daily and complete at least one survey, you can earn your daily streak. If you manage to complete a survey for seven consecutive days, you will be entered into a prize draw where you can earn up to 1,000 bonus points.
Simply answer at least one survey for seven consecutive days and you’ll receive one entry to the prize draw. You are able to see your current streak on the dashboard.
Referral program
Another way that you can earn money with Prime Opinion is through the site’s referral program. Simply share your referral link with friends and family. Then, when the person you refer takes surveys and redeems their first reward (so makes their first withdrawal), you will receive 100 bonus points as a reward.
How Much Does Prime Opinion Pay You?
You can earn up to $5 per survey with Prime Opinion.
How much you’ll earn depends on things like how many surveys you take and how much each one pays you.
And as we always say here on MoneyPantry, earning money with paid surveys isn’t gonna replace your day job. But if you do want to earn more than a few bucks here and there, it’s best to sign up for a few panels so you can increase your earnings by having access to more survey opportunities.
Is Prime Opinion Legit?
Prime Opinion is a legit site that does actually pay you to take surveys.
It also has 4.5 stars, which is a rating of “Excellent,” on Trustpilot.
The site may not be worth joining for some because many users complain that they are disqualified from most of the surveys that they try to complete. This is often after they have spent a lot of time answering questions too.
Below, I’ve included some reviews from users so that you can get a better idea of what people’s experiences are using Prime Opinion.
There are many positive user reviews of Prime Opinion on Trustpilot.
One user on Trustpilot says:
- “Puts your money where your mouth is! As with most survey sites, u get screened out of some surveys. Prime Opinion however, does this much less often. Unlike other sites though, you can easily withdraw straight to your PayPal or even your Bank or Debit card. Great survey service!! Thanks Prime Opinion!!!”
Another user on Trustpilot says:
- “It really pays!! Prime Opinion is one of the best & fairest survey sites for the time you put into doing surveys & the points given for them. I have cashed out numerous times & your cashout is instant through PayPal or gift vouchers. Couldn’t recommend it enough if surveys is your thing.”
On Reddit there are some complaints about the site.
In this Reddit thread, one user says:
- “I was completing the surveys today and got screened out of 95% of them and that was really annoying.”
Another user on the same thread complains about Prime Opinion saying:
- “I find I waste a lot of time answering demo questions only to be screened out after doing a few minutes of answering questions.”
Another user on the same thread does mention getting paid by the site saying:
- “PO paid out $25 to me already this week.”
Users complain about Prime Opinion in another Reddit thread.
In this Reddit thread, one user says:
- “Gave this a try. Big thumbs down. Crazy disqualification rate (and late into the surveys too) and you make pennies – similar to Branded Surveys and Surveoo (pulls from the same pool of brands/survey companies). Only got through I’d say 1 out of every 5 (because of DQ or the survey broke). Hard pass.”
Another user says:
- “The amount of data you give them is crazy for it to just disqualify you from being able to take part in a survey. I did it for a day and just felt I was being mined for info.”
Prime Opinion Pros & Cons
In this section, I’ll cover some pros and cons of Prime Opinion so you can decide whether the site is for you.
Pros
Here are the pros of the site:
- Quick payouts.
- Can redeem points for cash and not just gift cards.
- Offers a joining bonus.
- Offers ways to earn extra points, like leaderboard contests and daily streak bonuses.
Cons
The main con of Prime Opinion is that you will likely not qualify for all surveys. While it’s pretty typical to not always qualify for surveys on survey sites, a high number of users report that they don’t qualify for many at all. And, they also state that they spend a lot of time answering questions before they’re told that they don’t qualify.
Prime Opinion Review: Overall Verdict
Overall, Prime Opinion is a legit site that does actually pay you for taking surveys. It also has a good rating on Trustpilot. However, there are also many complaints from users about the lack of surveys available that they actually qualify for.
It is quite common with survey sites that you’re not going to qualify for every single survey on a site. After all, surveys are often looking for a particular demographic, and you’re not always going to fit that demographic. So, you will typically find that there are surveys that you don’t qualify for on a particular site.
However, users seem to report high instances of being screened out of surveys, and some users said that this was after they’d answered a lot of questions and provided a lot of information.
Obviously, that’s not ideal as you don’t want to feel like you’re wasting time.
Prime Opinion is a good survey site, but it’s not one of the best.
Give it a try, but I’d use it alongside other survey sites. And, if you find that you aren’t qualifying for many surveys on Prime Opinion, it may be worth just using other sites.
Hopefully, this Prime Opinion review has helped you to decide whether to use the site.
