Lucky Chip Spin Review: Is This App Legit or a Scam?

As the coins fall from the platform, you collect virtual dollars. You can redeem these virtual dollars for money via PayPal or Cash App.

According to the Google Play store page for the app, Lucky Chip Spin is developed by Slot Game Developer, a very vague-sounding company name.

There is no information available about this company or anything to suggest it actually exists.

Upon further research, it looks as though the company also calls itself Luckyspin.

How Does Lucky Chip Spin Work?

Here’s how the Lucky Chip Spin app works:

Step One: Install the app

The first step is to install the app. It’s available in all countries for Android devices. You can get the app here.

It’s free to download and install, but I would not recommend installing it.

Step Two: Play the game

Once the app is installed, you can start playing. Basically, all you need to do is tap where you want the coins to fall.

The dozer will push them off the front edge. This will give you either virtual dollars or tokens depending on whether you drop green chips or gold coins.

It’s basically like those real-life arcade coin pusher games.

Once you reach a certain number of coins that fall off the platform, it activates a slot machine so that you can spin to hopefully win a jackpot. The idea is to match 3 symbols in a row on a single spin.

Lucky Chip Spin also has various power-ups and bonuses that can help you earn cash faster.

For example, there’s a Piggy Bank that you can crack open each time you level up to earn even more coins. You can also activate a Shake power-up, which helps you knock more coins off the belt.

You can also tap the gold bars to complete quests and win virtual dollars faster.

There are also quests you can complete, like earning a certain number of gold bars, which sometimes appear on the belt. It also allows you to earn puzzle pieces, which the app claims you can redeem for prizes like iPhones and iPads. There’s a lot going on!

When you play, non-skippable ads appear about every 30 seconds or so. You can also watch sponsored videos or ads to increase your play time and earn bonus cash. In fact, many of the activities that put cash and tokens in your account require you to watch sponsored videos.

Step Three: Get paid

You can tap the “Cash out” button next to your balance to see all of the withdrawal options.

You need $300 in your account to cash out your earnings via PayPal or Cash App on Lucky Chip Spin. Once you have $300 in your account, you can enter your email and tap the “Redeem” button.

For tokens, you can apparently exchange 5,000,000 of them for $500. If you manage to land 777 on the slots, you can apparently win $777, which is paid either through PayPal or Cash App. Also, if you collect 36 fruits through the slot machine, there’s a chance of earning a $1,000 prize.

Is Lucky Chip Spin Legit?

Lucky Chip Spin is NOT a legit app. It does not pay out. You cannot earn real money with Lucky Chip Spin. Playing the coin pusher game will allow you to earn virtual currency, but even if you reach the extremely high payout threshold, the money will not be transferred into your PayPal or Cash App account.

The app is a total waste of time.

There are so many red flags with the Lucky Chip Spin app, including:

No information about the developer

It’s never a good sign when a game’s developer seemingly doesn’t have an official website. I managed to find the developer’s Privacy Policy through a link on the Google Play store, and there I found that it’s apparently owned by a company called LuckySpin.

However, there’s no website for that company, and the aforementioned Privacy Policy is just a white page with black text. There’s no company logo or any other links on the page. Even more suspicious is the fact that the URL for the page is just a bunch of random letters.

There was actually a link to the developer’s website on the Google Play store, but this also led to a URL with a bunch of random letters. Even worse, the site just featured, again, a white page with no logo or other branding, and just a bunch of gibberish. That’s a big red flag that LuckySpin may not be a legitimate company.

Questionable collection and use of user data

The LuckySpin Privacy Policy shows that the company collects and stores a lot of data on its users, even sharing some of it with third parties. The company collects data from you and also gathers usage information from its users. It also retains user data.

Additionally, when you read the permissions section for the app on the Google Play store, it raises even more concern. It states that the app can access your USB storage files, read the contents of your USB storage, and even modify or delete the contents of your USB storage.

There are no reviews of Lucky Chip Spin on the Google Play Store

Despite having more than 1 million downloads on the Google Play store, there are no reviews of Lucky Chip Spin on the app store. This signals to me that perhaps the developer could be trying to hide bad press.

Poor reviews online

On the platforms where there are Lucky Chip Spin reviews, the consensus is negative. Most blogs and websites rate it poorly, and it’s also not highly regarded on social media platforms either. There’s a whole Reddit thread about Lucky Chip Spin where many users discuss how the company is not legit.

There are a ton of ads on the app

Most apps that pay you to play games or do other tasks online will have ads. It’s how many of these platforms make money, and there’s no issue with that. The problem with Lucky Chip Spin is the sheer number of ads featured on the platform.

Although the game itself requires very little effort to play, the process of using the app is still very time-consuming because you have to sit through ads before you can continue playing to win cash.

High payout threshold

For most apps, the payout threshold is usually $30 or less. For some apps like Qmee or QuickRewards, it’s a dollar or less!

With Lucky Chip Spin, however, players need to have $300 in their account to withdraw their earnings. That’s an incredibly high payout threshold and another red flag for the app.

It does not pay out

Lucky Chip Spin does not pay its users. Instead, users are making money for Lucky Chip by watching ads that the company gets paid for and sharing their data, often with third parties.

This is a scam, and you should definitely avoid this app. Unfortunately, many people have been duped by Lucky Chip Spin.

In that Reddit thread I mentioned earlier, one Lucky Chip Spin user describes how the app scammed them:

• “I have 5 rewards waiting. I spent quite a bit of time playing this as a friend showed me, and I never really thought twice about it not being a legit app. After many hours of playing and countless ads, I decided I’d check some reviews (which brings me here) to see if anyone’s got their payouts. After reading these reviews, I don’t feel confident I am going to get that payment, unfortunately.”

Closing Thoughts

Lucky Chip Spin claims that users can earn money easily just by playing its coin pusher game.

In reality, the app is making users watch a ton of ads that it profits from while sharing their data, and it has no intention of actually paying users real money.

It is a total scam and one that you should avoid.

There are plenty of legit ways to make money online, but playing games on Lucky Chip Spin isn’t one of them.
