2. Ask Friends and Family to Save Codes for You
Collecting Coke codes may feel like a lot of work, especially if you’re not the type who’s into their products.
Of course, you’ll think that it’s impossible to gather their products, but what if I told you that between my and my girlfriend we drink maybe a case of regular and diet Coke each week, but I’m still able to get 6000 points in a year’s time.
How exactly do I do that? Well, I just told all my friends and co-workers to save those Coke rewards codes found on any Coke product they purchase, for me. I even told the gas station guy where I regularly stop by, and now he keeps the stuff for me.
3. Become a Garbage Do-Gooder and Get Free Coke Codes in Return
It happens all the time. You see a Coke bottle on the sidewalk on the way to work, or when you’re bringing the kids to the park.
So, why don’t you go on ahead and pick it up to throw it in the trash. After all, you can probably get a free Coke code while you’re doing so.
But what if the bottle is already in the garbage can? Well, you may want to take the cap just so you can get the code. In fact, if you own a smartphone, you can key in the code right away.
4. Earn Free Points by Referring Your Friends and Family
In a perfect world according to Coca-Cola, everyone will be on the Coca Cola rewards program. They’d love to have everyone obsessively collecting Coke codes just like you.
So, do them a solid and start referring your family and friends to the program and they’ll certainly reward you with MCR points.
The only downside to this and you’ll probably have more competition for the Coke codes around your neighborhood.

5. Get Free Coke Reward Points by Signing Up for Emails
You don’t have to rely on just Coke products to get codes. Subscribe to their email newsletter which allows the company to send emails to you.
You’ll find many of these emails include MCR points, or if not, let you know of the different methods of getting those free Coke codes without spending a dime.
6. Look for Promotions
Another advantage of signing up for My Coke Rewards mailing list is you get updated on their seasonal promotions that will boost your points.
Did you know that there are days that Coke gives bonus points for code redemption on particular days or if you do a specific set of actions?
There are even times that they run sweepstakes, allowing you to earn and leverage more points. You can check out their current promotions here.
7. Purchase from Coke Partners and Get Free MCR Points
You don’t have to drown in Coca-Cola products just to get MCR points. Many times, Coke works with other companies as a form of cross-promotion.
For example, Coke has worked with Subway and Kroger in the past, which is fantastic if you’re a fan of their products.
While it is not often the best idea to just buy things for the sake of getting reward points, if these are things that you normally buy, then make sure to take advantage.
8. Use Google Alerts
Consider setting up your Google Alerts so you can be emailed whenever Coca-Cola sends out press releases about their newest promotions. You can even set it up so that you get alerted about winning the sweepstakes.
Want to be on point about every new way to get more My Coke Rewards? Google Alerts is a free and fantastic tool that can help you.
When setting it up, consider using these keywords: “sweepstakes + MCR points”, “Free MCR points”, and “Free My Coke Rewards Points”. Just make sure that you remove the quotation marks when you copy and paste them into the field.
Also, feel free to experiment with the keywords to know which ones work the best.
9. Win Free Points by Entering Sweepstakes
Coke, along with their partners, hold frequent sweepstakes that include My Coke Reward points as part of their prizes.
Examples of these include Subway’s Footlong Appreciation Day and the McDonald’s Monopoly Game which have given away a large number of MCR points.
Keep yourself posted when these events happen, because you never know when you can suddenly earn a boatload of points, and maybe other prizes, too.
For a list of current sweepstakes you can enter, visit Coke Reward’s Sweepstakes page.
Final Words
I have to say, when the program first started, I liked it much more. You could get much more for fewer points. Plus, you could enter an unlimited amount of codes. But now they limit you to 10 a week or so. Not to mention that the rewards options have changed as well.
That said, if you drink Coke products, I think this would be a great way to at least get a few Coke products for free once in a while. Of course, you can use your points to redeem for other prizes as well.
