10. Contact chocolate brands directly
Okay, so if you want to get free chocolate samples in the mail, then one of the best ways to do this is by contacting brands directly. You could get in touch with chocolate brands and ask if they have any free samples that they would be willing to mail out to you.
The Hershey Company website is a good place to get started because you can get in touch about brands like Reece’s and Cadbury too. Other companies you can contact include Nestle and Lindt.
Visit the website of your favorite chocolate brand, and then look for the contact page.
Here’s a sample letter you can use when getting in touch:
“Hi,
My name is [your name]
I just wanted to say that I’m a huge fan of your company. I love your [chocolate product that you like] and I always recommend them to my friends and family.
As someone who’s been a loyal customer for years, I just wanted to say you’re doing fantastic work!
I was also wondering if you have any samples or coupons you could send to me, because I’d love to try more of your products, and would appreciate anything you could send me.
Thank you so much and have a great day!
[Your name]”
You can tailor this sample for each company that you contact. You won’t always get free samples, but you may do, and at the least you might get a coupon or some other reward from the company. So, it’s definitely worth contacting chocolate companies directly to see if they have any free chocolate samples they could mail out to you.
11. Get a box of freebies from Daily Goodie Box
Daily Goodie Box is definitely worth a look. This company mails out free sample boxes to you. There are lots of products on offer and many of them are in the food and drink niche, so you could end up with some free chocolate samples.
To get freebies from Daily Goodie Box, you need to sign up and then follow the company’s social media accounts. The reason you’ll need to follow Daily Goodie Box on social media is that the company looks at the comments on its Facebook page, and then randomly chooses the winners of the box.
If you are selected to receive a free box, then you will get a reply on your Facebook comment that says “Congrats! You’ve got a Goodie Box.” or something like that.
If you want a box of freebies from the company, then make sure that you leave comments on its social media pages. Often, you’ll see comment threads that have multiple winners, so it appears that the company sends out a lot of free boxes.
Here’s where you can follow the company:
Not only is the box of stuff free, but shipping is free too. You will need to provide a review of the products you get in return for the freebies. Sure, you’re not guaranteed to get chocolate, but many products are in the food niche, so it’s worth trying.
We have a Daily Goodie Box review, so check that out to learn more about getting free stuff from the company.
12. Get free cash to spend on chocolate with Ibotta
Finally, if you want free chocolate, then I would highly recommend you use the Ibotta app. If you haven’t heard about it before, Ibotta is a rebate app that rewards you when you buy specific products and then upload a photo of your receipt as proof of purchase.
Ibotta offers rebates of anywhere between $1 to $3 or more back for each product, and there are even bigger rebates than that in some cases.
Your rebates are sent right to your PayPal account, bank account or Venmo account, or you can choose to get free gift cards.
You can use the money to get free chocolate!
Closing Thoughts
Whether it’s a box of chocolates, a chocolate milkshake, or a chocolate brownie, it’s good to know that there are so many companies out there offering free chocolate samples, and products. Give these tips and try and enjoy your free sweet chocolate treat!

The only reason I can’t afford great quality chocolate & food is because my health insurance premiums are very, very high. Tbh- not sure what’s a luxury anymore but the past four years are unreal.
Godiva is amazing! Lake Champlain is one of the best. There’s so many fun, delicious brands.
