Dollar Stretcher has been around for a long time. It is one of the oldest “Frugal living” blogs out there.
At the time of writing this post, they pay for guest posts that are published in the print version of their bi-monthly newsletter.

5. ListVerse

As the name implies, they are looking for lists.
The subject matter here can be completely arbitrary; the more eye-catching, the better it is going to be.
The standard practice is $100 for every accepted entry.
You need to find 10 items minimum in order to qualify as an entry, which is to be no less than 1000 words.

They don’t get any more humorous outside Cracked.
The contributors don’t get to publish their identities on this website but if they find your story hilarious, they will publish it.

This blog caters to retirees, their lifestyle, and the struggle to stay afloat.
They especially are looking for content about places overseas where you can live cheaper.

The payout happens after your article is published.

There are no hidden catches, Suzanne. Of course, each of these sites have their own rules and guidelines for the kind of content they accept, so if you give them the kind of content they want, you will be paid.
I can do most of these but don’t know if Nigerians are allowed to participate.
Most blogs don’t care where you live as long as you can write what they are looking for.

They don’t mention it on their site, but I would assume it can be anywhere from a few days to weeks.
