There are many sites like Swagbucks out there, but when it comes to making extra money with rewards websites, Swagbucks is the number one.
That’s why it is one of the go-to sites when you want to earn extra money on the Internet doing simple things like watching videos, searching, playing games, shopping, etc.

Well, that’s where joining a few sites pays off, literally!
Thankfully, there are many Swagbucks alternatives that work in similar ways. You get paid to watch videos, take surveys, shop online, play games, refer friends and more.

Best Swagbucks Alternatives
Here are the best alternatives to Swagbucks that are arguably better than Swagbucks!
1. InboxDollars
InboxDollars runs a similar scheme to Swagbucks, allowing you to earn points for playing games, searching the web, taking surveys, etc.
They seem to pay out a bit better for some activities, such as taking paid surveys.
One special feature they have is their relationship with Groupon.
Groupon is already a great way to save money, with loads of discount offers. If you buy a $20 coupon for Groupon through InboxDollars, then you earn $5 back from InboxDollars, that’s a 25% return on your money!
Plus, you can get a $5 signup bonus if you join InboxDollars.
2. PineCone Research
PineCone is one of the most trusted online survey panels. A few years ago, these used to pay $3 for every single survey. These days, they have surveys that pay different rates. They actually have some of the highest paying survey sites.
They pay via PayPal, Check or Visa card.

3. Branded Surveys
Branded Surveys has a simple website design and is also easy in concept.
It concentrates on paying you for taking surveys, for which you earn points.
It takes into account your preferences and qualifies you to take particular surveys, ensuring that the results are always relevant.
Points are awarded to your account every time you complete a survey.
4. CashCrate
At the risk of being repetitive, CashCrate is similar to Swagbucks, which means you can fill out surveys, shop online, and other things to build up rewards points that you can receive in the form of gift cards or cash.
One thing that might make you consider them over Swagbucks is that they have a better referral program. When you refer friends, you are rewarded with 20% of what your friends make, as well as 10% of what their referrals make. Swagbucks just gives you 10% on your immediate referrals.
5. Points2Shop
Points2Shop rewards you with points for filling out surveys, playing games, watching videos, completing offers, etc.
Again, it’s another Swagbucks like site but from some people better and easier.
Points2Shop also has an app that you can use so that you can continue earning when you are away from your computer.
6. TreasureTrooper
TT has been around for a long time and has a very loyal group of users.
This is a website to make money online that is themed around an Indiana Jones type concept.
You can collect “treasure” by taking surveys, playing games, and fulfilling paid offers.
7. PrizeRebel
This one isn’t as extensive as the others listed here, but it is a legitimate site that does pay you.
You can still fulfill offers, watch videos, take surveys, and do other things online to earn points.
It’s worth a look if you feel overwhelmed by all the choices that Swagbucks gives you, and you just want a simple way to rack up rewards.
You can get paid out with as little as $2 for an Amazon gift card. This is great for when you are buying something on Amazon but need an extra few bucks. You can quickly get a free $5 Amazon gift card from Prize Rebel and use it to complete your Amazon transaction. If you want to get cash through PayPal you will have to build it up to $10 before they pay out.
8. ZoomBucks
Of all the sites mentioned so far, Zoom Bucks is probably the one that’s most like Swagbucks – even sharing some of its name!
As with all of the sites, it’s free to join, and you can join using your Facebook identity or email address.
You can take part in contests, play games, fill out free offers, refer friends, search, shop, take surveys, or watch videos. Take your pick, any of these activities will earn you ZoomBucks.
You can redeem your ZoomBucks as rewards online, including as cash to PayPal.
9. InstaGC
This site comes highly recommended, and it gives you a number of opportunities to earn rewards.
You can also earn bonus points, varying from 100 points right up to 5000 points.
The choice of gift cards is extensive, including Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and others, and you can take your cash through PayPal, with a check, or even by direct deposit into your bank account.
10. Gift Hunter Club
Another simple website layout, and this time earning points in a variety of ways, taking part in contests, sharing with friends, as well as surveys.
You can even earn points by listening to music, in their Radio section.
Other Websites Similar to Swagbucks
The above list contains my favorite reward websites that are like Swagbucks some even better, but there are many other sites like it as well.
Here are a few more that you may want to try:
- MOBROG
- Survey Savvy
- Survey Junkie
- LifePoints
- GrabPoints
- Earnably
- Paid Viewpoint
- Mistplay
- Opinion Outpost
- MyPoints
- Rakuten
- Toluna
- InboxPays
- PointsPrizes
- Panel PayDay
- Vindale Research
- YouGov
- YSense
- Fusion Cash
- Prolific
These sites and apps are similar to Swagbucks in the way that you can earn cash and rewards as well as how much and how they pay. So if you want to increase your earnings from rewards sites, sign up for a few and whenever you have a few minutes to spare (waiting in the doctor’s office, train station, on the couch, etc.), complete a few offers. Before you know it, you have earned enough to cash out!
The Bottom Line
None of these sites are as big as Swagbucks.
But they don’t have to be. As long as you can use them to earn a little side money, they are good enough.
I recommend the above sites as the best selection of Swagbucks like rewards sites, allowing you to make money while doing things that you might be doing anyway and not being paid for.
I don’t suggest you actively work on all of them, but take a look at them and see which ones appeal.
Kay
The reason I’m looking for an alternate to Swagbucks is if you have more than 2 or 3 LEGITIMATE issues with anything you do on their site and try to contact them, rather than to deal with it, they just block your IP address. I had finished several surveys and never got my points. I was very polite and used their form to contact them, but they just made it so every survey I tried from that point on kicked me out. It’s a shame. It was fun while it lasted, but their customer service is TERRIBLE, and they really don’t care. They’d rather block you than deal with the issues.
Satrap
I am sorry you’ve had a bad experience, Kay. I don’t know in your specific case, but this does happen with a lot of survey/reward sites since surveys are usually looking for specific demographic so most people are disqualified.
Anyway, I hope the alternatives work better for you.

Swagbucks is the most horrible experience a person can encounter. They do everything they can to cheat you out of every dollar that they can. They have greed that surpasses my greatest nightmare.
