Taking surveys online is a great way to make money. Anyone can get started with surveys. All you need is an internet connection and an opinion.
There are tons of websites out there that claim you can earn money taking surveys, including SurveyWorld.
Is SurveyWorld legit though or are there better survey sites out there?
In today’s SurveyWorld review, I’ll cover everything there is to know about the platform from how it works to whether it’s legit.

What is SurveyWorld?
SurveyWorld is a website that gathers survey opportunities from different research companies all in one place. It doesn’t actually offer any paid surveys itself. It describes itself as “An independent comparison community of research companies.”
The site is owned by e-Bron Marketing, which is based in the Netherlands. There’s not really much more information available on the company or the management team behind it.

How Does SurveyWorld Work?
SurveyWorld is a free to join site that connects you with a bunch of different survey companies.
All you need is an email address to receive invitations to participate in surveys, and of course, an internet connection to complete online surveys.
Here’s how SurveyWorld works.
The first step is to sign up and well, that’s pretty difficult to do on SurveyWorld I’ll tell you.
For most of the sites that I review, the legit ones anyway, signing up is super easy. You head to the site where you’ll find a link that says something like “Sign up” or “Join” and then you click it and fill out a form. It’s simple.
That’s not the case at all with SurveyWorld. Head on over to the SurveyWorld homepage and you will soon see that there is indeed no sign-up form. Nope. It’s really weird.
You’d think that if a site wanted you to join, it would have a sign-up form right there on the homepage or a link to a page where you can sign up. SurveyWorld does not though.
So, how do you join SurveyWorld?
If you want to sign up, then you will need to let the company know by contacting its support team through its official Facebook page. There’s also a contact form on the site that you can use.
Advertisements
If SurveyWorld is available in your country, then the company will send you a link where you can actually sign up.
I don’t know why SurveyWorld makes it so difficult for people to sign up. It’s strange.
Find surveys
Once you’ve signed up for SurveyWorld, the company helps to match you with paid survey opportunities.
As I said earlier, SurveyWorld itself doesn’t directly offer surveys. Instead, it aggregates surveys from a bunch of different places, like Opinion Outpost, Valued Opinions, and Opinion World.
This means that you complete surveys on these third-party sites. So, the types of surveys available and the amount of money you earn will depend on the site that you’re using to complete surveys.
So, on some sites, you may collect points for the surveys that you complete which you can redeem for rewards or others might pay you cash from the outset.
SurveyWorld itself doesn’t send you any surveys or manage any rewards. The site basically just informs you about survey opportunities.
Get paid
Because SurveyWorld doesn’t directly provide paid surveys, it means that the amount of money you’ll earn depends on the survey site you’re using.
Some sites pay more than others. SurveyWorld directs you to different survey sites. So, check on the particular site you’re using to see what the pay rate is.
Pay for online surveys can range from $1 per survey to $50 or more in some cases. It depends on factors like the website you’re using and the length of the survey you’re taking.
Not only does the amount of money you’re earning vary depending on the site you’re using, but so does the way that you get paid.
Typical payment options on survey sites include:
- PayPal money
- Gift cards for retailers like Amazon, Walmart, and Target.
- VISA gift cards
- MasterCard gift cards
- Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin
- Bank transfer
- Check
Most survey sites provide gift cards or PayPal cash, but some will offer options like cryptocurrency or bank transfer.
Is SurveyWorld Legit?
SurveyWorld isn’t a scam in that it isn’t taking money from people. Basically, it’s a platform that aggregates a bunch of different survey sites and panels. However, SurveyWorld is just a middleman between you and various survey platforms. You’d be better just going directly to popular survey sites, like Pinecone Research, Branded Surveys, and Swagbucks.
On Trustpilot, SurveyWorld only has 2.7-stars which is a rating of “Poor.”
A lack of customer support options, a confusing website, and the scarcity of any details regarding who actually owns the site are also downsides that make SurveyWorld not worthwhile.
So, while SurveyWorld isn’t a scam, I don’t think that it’s the best option if you’re looking to make money taking surveys online. You’d be better off with those sites that I mentioned above.
SurveyWorld Pros and Cons
Let’s take a look at the pros and cons of SurveyWorld so you can decide whether or not to use the site.
Pros
Here are the pros of SurveyWorld:
- It promotes legitimate survey sites.
- It promotes a wide variety of different sites from different countries.
Cons
Here are the cons of SurveyWorld:
- You can’t make money directly from the site.
- The site is just a middleman.
- It can be difficult to navigate.
- Who actually owns and operates the site isn’t particularly transparent.
- It’s difficult to find an actual sign-up form.
SurveyWorld Review: Summary
The SurveyWorld website basically acts as a middleman that connects you with different survey sites and panels.
Unfortunately, it’s difficult to find a signup form on the site, and the site is just not the easiest to use.
To end this SurveyWorld review, I’d say rather than wasting your time, you’d be better off just going directly to survey websites and signing up for those.
