Disney Plus Free Trial 6 Months?
Disney+ used to offer a free trial of its streaming service the length of which varied depending on the country in which you lived. Disney no longer offers a free trial of Disney+. So, you can’t try out the service for free directly on the Disney site.
Quite a lot of the places that used to offer free trials for Disney+ are no longer available. For example, there was a free trial offer available for Amazon Music Unlimited subscription members that used to allow new members to get six months of Disney+ for free and current members could get three months for free. This offer is no longer available.
Verizon also used to offer a 6-month promotion offer for Disney+ on some of its plans, but this offer is no longer available to add to your account.
Still though, while these free trials may no longer be around, there are still plenty of offers out there and methods that you can use for getting Disney+ for free or for a discount.

3. Get Disney Plus for free if you’re a Disney employee
If you are an employee of Disneyland or Walt Disney World, you can actually get a free Disney+ account. Previously, Disney employees, who’re known as Cast Members, had to choose between a Main Entrance Pass for theme park admission or Disney+ Bundle access.
In 2023, though, Disney announced the Cast Members could receive both of these benefits, saying:
- “Starting in early calendar year 2023, eligible employees and Cast Members will receive both a Main Entrance Pass for our parks and complimentary access to the Disney Bundle Basic (with ads) streaming service (Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu). No longer will you have to choose between the two! What a great way to experience all things Disney, from our theme parks around the world to our new movie releases, original series, sports, our timeless classics and so much more. We can’t wait for you to enjoy even more Disney magic!”
4. Get a free Disney Plus subscription as a gift
Did you know that Disney+ actually offers a one-year gift subscription? It does. So, you could simply ask someone during the holidays or your birthday if they could gift a Disney+ subscription to you.
This gift can only be redeemed by new subscribers though. It cannot be added to an existing subscription. Next time a holiday comes up, ask for a Disney+ gift subscription as a present.

5. Free Disney Plus promo codes
If you want to save some cash or get a Disney+ subscription for free, then use promo codes, coupon codes, and other deals. These can save you so much cash and even get you Disney+ for free.

Here are some examples of the promo codes, coupon codes, and other deals available at the time of writing:

6. Save 16% with an annual subscription to Disney+ Premium
One of the best ways to save on a Disney+ subscription is to pay for your plan annually, rather than monthly. Monthly plans are convenient as you can cancel them after a month or so if you’re no longer using the service. But, annual plans are cheaper.
The Disney+ Premium no ads plan costs $10.99 per month or $109.99 per year.
This means that you can save more than 16% on Disney+ Premium no ads with an annual plan. Paying for that subscription at the monthly rate of $10.99 would cost you $131.88 over the course of 12 months, so paying $109.99 for an annual subscription is much more cost effective.
