Zoom backgrounds are all the rage these days thanks to the overnight popularity of Zoom video meeting software.
In December 2019, Zoom had 10 million daily meeting participants. By April of 2020 though, there were over 300 million daily meeting participants using the platform.
And its revenue soared 169% to $328 million!
The surge in Zoom’s popularity makes total sense.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve had to rely more on technology to keep in touch. Work meetings, birthday parties, catch-ups with family, and everything else we’d normally do in person is now conducted over apps like Zoom.
But during those work meetings or family game nights, the camera sees not only your face but also your surroundings!
