What will I learn?
1. Sell Used Books
BookScouter is a site that makes it very easy to sell your old books for the highest prices possible.
Simply visit the site, put in your book’s ISBN and BookScouter’s engine will instantly search over 40 online book-buy-back sites to find the one that pays the most for your book.
They even have an app that you can on the go. So, this will be perfect for anyone who wants to buy and sell books.
Whenever you come across a book you want to buy to sell later, scan it with the BookScouter app to find out instantly if you can make a profit on it or not.

2. Design & Sell T-shirts
TeeSpring is a site that you can use to design custom T-shirts.
Here is how it works: You design a T-shirt, set a price for it, then you set a goal for the number of Ts you would like to sell within certain amount of time. If you do not reach the goal, no T-shirt will be printed.
You will be given your own webpage where the T-shirt can be bought. You then promote your new product.
If you reach your goal, T-shirts will be made and shipped to people.

It doesn’t cost you a dime to do this. Printing, shipping and handling will all be taken care of by TeeSpring.
Of course, they take a percentage of the profit as their fee.
This will actually work great with viral topics or certain issues that are hot. You can simply put slogans on your T-shirts, and if you target the right audience on… say Facebook, or any other social media sites, you could make a killing.

3. Take Online Surveys
You can take online surveys to make a little bit of easy money on the side, and it scarcely requires any effort on your end.
Many survey sites pay in gift cards, but a select few pay in cash. Either way, it’ll lead towards reducing your total overall costs, and that’s a good thing.
These are a popular way to make money without working.
Sites to use:
4. Become a Secret Shopper
Secret shopping is the practice of buying stuff on behalf of other people in order to discreetly evaluate something.
Like the way a health inspector quietly purchasing a restaurant’s special, secret shoppers are there to see how a business operates without any prior notice.

5. Get Your Car Wrapped
If you own a relatively new vehicle in good condition, you can make some really easy money with your car by letting an advertiser wrap it.
You make an inquiry to a company that specializes in this and after they accept or deny, you can make your money by getting a full or a partial wrap; bigger wraps mean bigger money!
Don’t let the new looks on the road bother you– you’re getting easy cash in hand in return for them.

6. Sell Photos
It might come as a shocker, but you can make money for taking photos of nothing in particular. In fact, there are a whole community of photographers that take the most outlandish photos they can, and sell them for money.
Regardless of your level of seriousness, you can always make money selling high-quality photos to stock photo services, like Shutterstock.
The pay might be low per-picture, so make sure you investigate and take enough of them!
Sites to use:
7. Offer a Travel Service
It may surprise you to hear this, but you can rent out a room in or near your house via a website like HomeAway, or AirBnB.
These are websites that allow you to rent out space in your position like a little hotel, and usually (if not always) offering a bed-and-breakfast type of service.
The booking and rates are all operated on your side of the deal, what the website takes is purely intermediary.
If you live in a well-traveled area, you can get extra money for your space.
It’s easy money, but don’t forget that your guests will require some attending to!
Sites to use:
8. Sell Your Clothes
Many people are hesitant to get rid of old clothes.
It might be because you have hopes of fitting in them again one day, or because they have a sentimental value to you.
But if you are swayed by dollar signs, you should know that you can easily turn the clothes into money.
There are consignment stores online and offline that will be willing to pay you for your goods.
Just be careful of letting go of clothes that are too important to you– these won’t be top dollar prices!
Sites to use:
9. Donate Plasma
Technically, you could be selling your plasma or your blood, but plasma is worth more money in the end.
Plasma donations can net you anywhere from $20 to $40 dollars, so they’re something worth considering.
However, you can give at maximum once a week, with some donation centers requiring a longer delay, and you will be a bit lightheaded afterwards.
It’s important to bring along a partner who has your back since you won’t be in top shape afterwards.

10. Rent Your Car Out
If you have a relatively nice, newer model of vehicle, you can easily make some pretty pennies by renting it out.
Some people bill very high values for their cars, like $200 for several days, while others might only charge $200 in a week.
You can make good money renting your car out, especially if you live in a heavily populated area.
Concerned drivers can be at ease: services like RelayRides will offer pre-screening on drivers, up to one million in liability insurance, and their own personally contracted tow and mechanics.
This can be a great, easy way to make money, but you’ll want to read into it heavily to make sure if it’s for you.

11. Do Odd Jobs Around the Community
Technically, we could be talking about many methods here, but this is more of an umbrella technique.
There will be, and most definitely is, a wealth of opportunities for money-making in your community.
Don’t underestimate it; you can build up quite a reputable income from work done around your community.
This could be all kinds of work, like pet sitting, babysitting, dog walking, flipping, doing services via TaskRabbit or even mowing lawns.
You might be tempted to look at these as small-fry jobs, but the truth is that you can often get more than minimum wage for doing this type of work. That’s nothing to scoff at, if you are in a position to appreciate it!

12. Participate in a Mock Jury
This is a method I only recently learned about: you can become a juror to give feedback on cases, pre-trial, and you will be paid for it!
OnlineVerdict and eJury are two companies which offer this service, but the general idea is the same.
You’ll be getting paid above minimum wage for this work, in some cases, far over, so long as you are getting work consistently. They may ask for a specific qualification, but don’t be discouraged.
Anyone can apply and there is no risk.
Sites to use:
13. Sell Old Items
You might have some old stuff sitting around that is still worth something. If that’s the case, you have a variety of options for selling it; most commonly, people will go to eBay or Craigslist.
These are longstanding, community-driven websites that have seen great success as a medium for selling and buying goods.
You’ll want to price according to demand and take some good pictures– along with a good price and a good attitude, these will be key in selling your product.
Don’t be discouraged if your item isn’t worth much, some things aren’t worth selling, but some unexpected things might be worth money. Never underestimate what one person might want to purchase.
Sites to use:
14. Be a Research Subject
Universities and clinics are always looking for people to test and examine.
In some cases, the research is lighthearted, and in other cases it may be harrowing, or dangerous.
You’ll usually be paid according to those risks, though.
Allowing the researchers that be to examine and inspect you could be very lucrative on your end, so if you are open to the idea, remember that it is a good option.
This could provide you quite a nest egg!

15. Sell Your Work
If you produce any kind of tangible good, whether it’s clothes, sculptures, or paintings, you can sell it for money.
Even musicians can monetize in unexpected ways thanks to platforms like YouTube partners and Patreon accounts, so don’t think this is limited to a specific skill set.
You visual artists out there can set up an account on Etsy and watch those orders pour in– the indie art community is thriving and bigger than ever.

Thoughts in closing
Your extra time can equal out to some extra dollars, if you’ve got a will to turn it into that.
Some ways of earning money are slow and secure, and other way require higher risks, better skills, or perhaps just the daunting task of getting yourself out there.
Getting yourself ahead in a financial sense is easiest if you meet those challenges head-on, however.
Don’t be afraid of limitations!
The sooner you get out and try these methods, the sooner you’ll find one that works for you.
For some of us, having multiple sources of income is a fun and rewarding way to make a living.
And these are opportunities that are available regardless of age, so don’t count yourself out before you give them a shot! They allow anyone – kids, stay at home moms, retirees, and anyone looking for extra cash without getting a full-time job – to make money without working too hard,
