I knew that staying in a hotel in the middle of Berlin for 3 months probably wasn’t the best choice financially.

Hotels are expensive, right?

But then a traditional landlord certainly wasn’t going to rent a place to us for just three months.

Renting a property through Airbnb often can work out cheaper than your traditional hotel, but not always!

Bank of America found that listings on Airbnb were more expensive than hotels.

Of course, the space you get from Airbnb’s is often much more than you’d get in a hotel, so your cost to space ratio can work out better if you skip the hotel.

And other studies have actually found that Airbnb’s work out cheaper than hotels in most cases.

Still though, Airbnb’s don’t come cheap anymore.

That’s why I’ve had to start using coupons.

It’s pretty easy to use your coupon codes.

Here’s how it works:

1. Sign up for an account: It’s quick and easy to do. You can sign up with your phone number, Google account, Facebook account or email address.
2. Find a place: Find the place you want to book and enter the dates. At this point, you’ll be able to see any extra costs that will be added on to your stay, such as a cleaning fee.
3. Reserve your dates: Now, you’ll need to reserve the place for the dates you want. So, click on “Reserve.”
4. Add your payment details and coupon code: Now, you’ll need to enter your payment details (you won’t be charged until your reservation is accepted by the host, which can take 24 hours.) At this point, you will also be able to enter your coupon code. Try the codes above until you get an Airbnb coupon that works.
5. Agree to the terms and conditions: You’ll also need to agree to the terms and conditions of the host. Once you’ve done that, you just have to wait for the host to approve your reservation.
