While some sites claim that there is an app for both Android and iOS devices, I could only find the app on Google Play Store. So it seems like there is no Reel Rush app for iPhone yet.
Although on Reddit, some people were claiming the app is available for iOS outside of the U.S., and some were suggesting changing your location via a VPN, but then I am not sure if that would impact how you get paid or if you get paid at all.
It has over a million downloads and an average rating of 4.2 stars, with over 10K reviews. That shows it is somewhat popular.
The idea of the app is simple: you basically watch reels, earn coins or points, and trade those coins for real rewards like PayPal cash or gift cards.
You can also earn by referring friends or spinning their daily prize wheel.

Getting started is pretty easy really.

- This is actually a good way to increase your earning faster. So share your referral link where you can.
Cash out
- Once you have earned $10, you can cash out via PayPal cash, Amazon gift cards, or gift cards to stores like Walmart or Target.
How Much Can You Really Make?
Ok so Reel Rush is legit but how much can you actually make with it?
Well, this is the part where most people get disappointed.
You’re not going to make $50 a day watching viral clips on Reel Rush. Most people earn just a few cents here and there.
Advertisements
To earn the minimum cash out requirement of $10 you’ll have to watch hours upon hours of video clips and ads.
Now there are ways to make it better.
Here are a few tips:
- Do the daily check-ins. Those add up over time.
- Invite a few friends. The referral bonuses are better than just watching videos.
- Complete streaks or milestones. They reward you extra coins.

For me, Mode Earn App worked faster, but Reel Rush was more passive since I could just let reels run in the background (though they don’t always credit that way).

You really have to watch a lot of videos to earn enough to cash out. More on that later!
Also, their ads are pretty aggressive, sometimes back-to-back.
My Personal Experience with Reel Rush
As you can tell from MoneyPantry’s content, I love reward apps, especially the ones that pay to do stuff you already do, like watching videos, playing games, shopping, etc.
So when I first came across Reel Rush, it grabbed my attention because of the “get paid to watch videos” part of it.
I’m not gonna lie, at first everything seems great.
I signed up, got a nice little welcome bonus, and started watching videos.
I was shocked to see how quickly the points were adding up. Before I knew it, I had made $2 by watching videos.
I thought maybe I had found one of the really better reward apps that actually work as advertised.
Things were going so smoothly that I almost thought this was just a scam and I am never gonna get paid.
Unfortunately, that did not last long. After a few days, I noticed something was different. I was watching videos (same kinds and length as before) but the number of points I was earning was nowhere near the points I was getting the first day.
I think going from $2 to $3 took way more time than it took to earn the first $2.
So yeah, that initial earning speed was just too good to be true.
But I did stick with it for a while (I think about a month or so) so I could reach the $10 minimum cash out requirement, which I did.
The cashout process was actually good. I opted to redeem my points for PayPal cash and within minutes the money was in my PayPal account.
My Final Thoughts on Reel Rush
Reel Rush is legit, so if you have some downtime and want to make a few extra bucks doing mindless tasks and don’t mind a ton of ads, Reel Rush could be worth a try.
If you are a regular here at MoneyPantry, you know that I always say reward apps and survey sites aren’t gonna get you rich or help you quit your day job, but they are great ways to earn a bit of extra cash or a few gift cards here and there.
For me personally, Reel Rush is not worth my time!
So to end my personal Reel Rush review, I’d say while Reel Rush is legit, I’d skip it and instead use these apps to make money.
